Wide base and poor finish
The wide base on this type makes it hard to screw it far enough into the standard ceramic socket without risking breaking the bulb or the socket. I'm likely to replace it with a better-shaped one.The one I received has "bubbles" in the black coating leaving me concerned that the element isn't completely sealed, either from moisture or from accidentally touching a live heating element.In my application, this wasn't an issue however.

The 25w gives off 63w !
Tested with a power meter. Also confirmed with multi meter. It's not 25W.

Poor product, lasted 3 days
Purchased this due to it's small size and obviously the low cost.Wish I hadn't now as it only lasted 3 days.Came down stairs this morning to find my python's viv temp at 18c (room temperature)Avoid if required to keep your pet alive

Do not buy
First bulb did not work. Second bulb immediately started over heating and lamp holder started to melt. Way hotter than 25W! Dangerous product, do not buy.

As other buyers have said this product did not work at all! Don’t waste your money and buy one that may cost a bit extra but will work!

Lasted about 2 weeks before it burnt out.
Poor quality item. Bought a better one and it works fine.
