XL Burger Press 5 1/2" inch Patty Maker, Easy to Clean Dishwasher Safe, Stainless Steel, 5 1/2 inch Diameter Burger Patty, Grill Tool, Patty Maker, Mold, Thin or Thick

I liked that it is sturdy & well-built and that it works well and makes a large diameter patty 5 and 1/2 inches. That allow the patty to shrink during cooking and still fill the bun. I let the ground meat warm up for a few minutes, and sandwich it between plastic wrap for simple cleanup. The meat never touches the patty maker so there is really NO cleanup. If it does get soiled, it's pretty easy to disassemble and wash. Only 4 parts. It doesn't require real heavy pressure to squeeze the meat out to the periphery of the patty maker. I've tried many patty makers and like this design the best.

The media could not be loaded. I initially hesitated thinking this burger press might be flimsy, it's NOT! Very sturdy stainless steel construction. It is exactly what I was looking for to make much larger, thinner burger patties to cook on my flat-top griddles. I weighed the pictured patties out to 6 ounces each and they turned out great! I absolutely recommend buying the pre-cut six inch patty wax paper sheets. They're cheap and make the whole process so much easier. Clean up is a breeze in hot soapy water. So you know, to get the full spread of six ounces of beef I had to use considerable pressure.

It is heavy gauge stainless steel, works great. First time I used it I made about 40 burger patties. I used a 1/2 cup measuring cup to make burger ball. This ended up with about a 1/2” burger. Next time I will try a 1/3 cup for a thinner burger. I placed the meat on a patty sheet and a sheet on top then pressed, made a perfect round burger. I hand washed it very easy to clean.

This is so incredibly easy to use. It does make a big burger. It's best to weigh the meat first and roll it into a ball. Cut out squares of wax paper and place each ball on the sheets. Put one square of wax paper on top and center up the press over the top then go to town. Makes a robust burger. Just wish 80/20 ground beef was more readily available. Seems like stores are making it 85/15 now. These burgers will fill a big size roll just fine.

Wow this product is amazing! So easy to use-we can make 6 burgers within a matter of minutes, so fast! It makes the perfect size burgers and it is very easy to clean. At an incredible price, this product has been a wonderful addition to our kitchen and will help us be making many more burgers!

I am very pleased with the press. I just ordered 300 6"x6 " parchment paper and put one on top and 1 on the bottom for freezing. You can reuse the top paperfor multiple patties. No sticking. I did rub a little geese before the first use. It couldn't work better. Excellent product. I did 24 patties in under 10 minutes.
