HOMCOM Aluminium Scaffolding Ladder Multi Combination Multi-purpose Step Scaffold Platform

I already had a Youngman OddJob and it's wider cousin the OdJob 600, but having several ceilings to do I decided that another platform would be good to reduce the stepping up & down and moving about of platforms. I'm really glad I went for this. It complements the other two really well. With these and a step ladder I can cover a good big area (e.g. screwing a whole 1200 x 2400 sheet of plaster board) without leaving the platform level. As a bonus I found that I could strap (i.e. tie) a plasterboard prop to the ladder at one end - very handy when you want a prop in the middle of a room and don't have enough hands to spare to hold it upright while it's still loose. Added to all that the ladder sections can also be used as a a short extension ladder or a pair of steps (when not being used as a platform).Some have commented on the lack of a cross brace at the top (as seen on some alternatives). I've not found that an issue. If there was a situation where I wanted to add extra rigidity I'm sure something could be arranged quite easily, but so far I've not seen any need.

I wouldn't have been able to do my decorating without this product. Very poor assembly instruction, next to useless, so a little bit of head scratching and trail and error got it assembled. Lightweight but very ridged. Felt secure whilst painting the ceilings.

I bought this specifically for a high job in a awkward tight space. I looked at several work platforms on line but this was the only reasonably priced one with an outside width of 130cm which would fit between the two sinks (see photo).The height clearance was some concern but I took the gamble, and needn’t have worried.Due the poor quality of the instructions, assembly was slightly challenging but some inspiration from good old YouTube sorted that.This is a solid stable and strong platform which I know I will go onto use many time for variety of jobs in the future. For the price, this is almost an investment!

This platform is very sturdy and stable once erected. Unfortunately, it is not easy to install on your own and it is very heavy

Product arrived very quickly. Quality is satisfactory for price. I can see it being very useful. Instructions sheet was poorly printed, but I am happy with this purchase.

I bought this for decorating so it would be easier to reach the high places without having to come up and down a ladder. I was able to assemble it myself and when dissembled it is an easy size for storage. Moving on the plank I feel safe and balanced.

Thought about the price first. But upon receiving the steps they looked used and in part damaged. They were well sealed so damage might be during delivery. The instructions are shockingly bad, but if you're a bloke you can work it out! (remember mechano sets).
