Professional Large Microwave Kiln for Glass Fusing

Very good kiln. The glass that comes with it as with most online kilns is not very good but it’s worth getting the kiln and binning the glass. Recommended

works shockingly well, maybe too well. now you can have the power to produce 1000+ degree heat in your home. here is a ceramic raku slug i just made using this kiln. i'm giving it 4 stars because after a few bisque and glaze firings it is starting to develop some cracks so i'm not convinced of its longevity. but it really does work.

I have now purchased 4 of these kilns and think they are amazing. I now make fused glass pieces with a craft group and we all love these kilns and how effectively they fuse the glass pieces. The surface to place items is the size of a small round coaster. I use the kilns with a 700 watt microwave set on high and to fire 4 pieces of jewellery takes between 18-21 mins. If using copper foil I set the microwave at med/high and it takes approx 24 mins. Very happy to recommend the product and seller.

Good product and value for money

This is a good kiln in that it works, but the inside size is not 45 mm as it says because when it’s closed it’s only 3 cm with the lid. So this is basically impossible to do anything and apart from the most Minute of things. I would ask for a refund if I hadn’t left it so long after buying to use

What a super kiln this is and oh my goodness me, it does glow orange in only a few minutes in the microwave.it really does melt the glass.don't forget, you will need fibre paper to complete the task.did not come with instructions but plenty info on you tube.would have been really nice to include some fibre paper.prompt delivery.very happy

I've had a few microwave kilns and have been experimenting with a number of different designs etc. I say this to show I have experience of other microwave kilns. My previous kilns were always cool to touch even when the insides were a glowing white hot glass. I was very surprised to find these were not cool at all and actually needed heavy duty gloves to wear just to check on the items inside. When I took the kilns out of my microwave I noticed there was a black smoke fume stain leaking from the inside. Further investigations showed that the kilns displayed a white hot glow from between the edges of the 2 pieces. These also give off a bad smell. My other kilns do not do this even when i repeat the experiment precisely with these. So I am very concerned about continuing to use these and am now contacting the supplier about this.

It works just as it should, but the inside is approximately 12 cm instead of 13.5 cm in the description
