How does it work? What are the rules?

You place the monkeys face down on the table, set up the simple tree structure and take turns with the spinner. If you spin the picture for “pick up a monkey” you pick one up and put it in your tree and then have another go until you spin either “put them in the pool”, “take the monkeys out of the pool and into your tree” or “take a monkey from someone else”, then that is the end of your go. The monkeys hold different numbers of bananas. When all the monkeys are taken you count up the number of bananas you have and the one with the most is the winner. It’s a simple game which young children can manage but still good fun. One of our favourite games.
