I bought them for for use at work. I've cut a variety of materials with no issues. It's the quality you would expect from a Leatherman product. At first, they seemed a bit bulky as they need to be kept in my pocket (carrying them in a sheath on my duty belt is not and option) but or the most part, I don't even notice they are there. I have not yet used the ring cutting function. When I use it I will update this review. That said, I think its a great product and I would recommend it.

An excellent product, over engineered and made right here is the USA with a 40 year warranty. Sure it is more expensive than the cheap made in china knock-offs, but Leatherman stands behind these shears with a 40 year warranty. They operate smoothly and the blades match perfectly.

I work in the emergency room and need to be able to cut clothes off. The scissors fold up and fit better in my pocket versus a large size shears. I have used them on several occasions and would recommend this to first responders or anyone working in health care.

High quality construction and materials. You can feel the heft and quality in your hand. The gripping teeth on the scissors perform well and exactly as designed when cutting fabric, far better than regular scissors. Pricey, but you get what you pay for - a high quality tool that will last in this case.

I love the fact that these fit perfectly in the small front pocket of my pants!

I live on a farm and do a lot of target shooting. Both of those can be dangerous so I have a fully loaded medical bag I keep near me at all times (I even throw it in the truck when traveling). These scissors are rugged and smooth to use. The only worry I have regarding them is someone taking them! Spend the extra dollars and get the proper tool.

Soooo I’m a doctor and I was super hesitant to get the original Leatherman raptors because they’re crazy cumbersome. This new version is much better, I bought them for an ER rotation I was going on and have absolutely no regrets, used them all the time in the ED and now they live in my clinic and hospital bag. They usually get clipped to the mandatory Patagonia/LLBean vest you have to wear if you want to fit in with the cool kids in the hospital. Build quality is consistent with every Leatherman I’ve ever owned, wicked solid. My only critique is that I wish they were easier to unlock. They’re worth the money…just don’t forget them in a room somewhere…

They are very well made and I am glad I bought them. I do wish there was some kind of holster or pouch.
