Studio Series Calligraphy Paper Pad (Set of 50 Sheets)

Ink bleeds. If I could give it 0 I would. DO NOT BUY.
I literally do not know where to begin. I have tried so hard to get this pad to work but I can't.1) The spacing (heights) aren't good for copperplate calligraphy2) The angle of the slants is incorrect for copperplate calligraphy (should be 55deg)3) INKS BLEED ON THIS PAPER. I've tried: Windsor and Newton indian ink, Diamine inks, Higgins calligraphy ink, Noodlers bleed proof ink.THEY ALL BLEED. WHY DOES INK BLEED ON A CALLIGRAPHY PAD IT'S LIKE THE ONE AND ONLY PRE-REQUISITE.Don't waste your money on this.

Disappointing
For me this paper pad is useless and has gone straight into the charity bag. So disappointing, especially having to wait a while for it. The ruling is described as faint but I think it very pronounced. Also, although the writing on the cover depicts modern copperplate, the ruled lines are only good for italics and even then, just one size - very large.

Good quality practise pad.
Arrived very swiftly. Very good, heavy duty quality paper, lined and marked as advertised. It would be nice if they also made a pad with pages for smaller script and lined across only with 'x height', ascender and descender lines. Maybe a range of pads for different nib sizes. Or do you do them already and I didn't find them?

Not quite what I wanted
Had hoped that this product would be drawn with 55 degree angle as specified in the guidebooks. This book has 82 degree angle so very different. The horizontal lines are useful.

Ink bleeds :(
The ink bleeds, Ive used several types with same result. Adding gum arabic helps. Best to use gel pen or pencil, buy a Rhodia and draw your own lines if you want to use dip pen

Garbage
What a load of garbage I bought this set to help my grandchildren with thier writing, the pens are of cheap quality and the black felt tip pen in the set is bone dry.My recommendation is don't buy.

Calligraphy Paper Pad.
This is the first paper I've had to purchase, since my daughter took up calligraphy. It feels good quality to me, and is pleasant to write on, and there's no bleed through to the other side.
