Product Description Brooks Slender Leather Grips feature vegetable tanned leather tape, and are designed to offer an alternative performance option for the user, while maintaining the standard for sustainability set by the Plump Grips, allowing the user to replace worn parts if necessary. The design incorporates an aluminium shell around which the bar tape is wrapped in the manner of traditional handlebar tape. The leather is then held in place by aluminium and steel clamps which can be removed in the event that the tape requires replacement. The tape is made from the same vegetable tanned leather used for Brooks Saddles. Length 130 mm+130 mm, Inner Diameter 22.2 mm, Weight 118 g per pair. It is made in Italy. Well I got the Brook seat and needed andle gipp s to go with seat and when I saw them on amzson inpass with them at to buy them

Be sure to check the threads are intact ,the grips come with the correct torx bit as well .
Thought I’d treat myself or rather my new Brompton to a pair of these Brooks grips to compliment my new Brooks saddle. Upon first inspection they looks to be pretty nicely made although not sure they are worth the extra money over some very good quality Chinese brand leather grips at half the money but anyway I chose these and would say I’d been pretty dam happy if it wasn’t for one of the threaded lock ring holes that had been very poorly tapped to a point where only the last bit of thread that the bolt won’t reach was intact . Not the sort of QC I’d expect from a £50+ pair of grips . I’ve returned them for an exchange but as we are entering a bank holiday I’ve now got to wait even longer to get what I hope is a serviceable pair . If the next pair prove to be unfit for purpose I’ll get a refund and order from our friends in China .

Screw snaps easily
Nice handlebars, but the screw snaps easily. Now I'm stuck with a loose ring on the end of the handbar and half a screw I can't remove.

Brooks.. You know it makes sense..
The Brooks brown leather grips add the final touches to my Brompton. These coupled with the brown Brooks saddle and leather carry handle really adds that touch of class.. They’re a bit pricey but they do look exceptional.

Pésima calidad.
Después de dos semanas de uso se despintaron, la textura del material tampoco corresponde con la de otros productos Brooks originales. No recomiendo comprar en absoluto.

I haven't had a chance to ride yet as it's been raining but on first glance these things are amazingly well made! They were, in all honesty a total impulse buy because I wanted grips that matched my Brooks B17 I got almost 3 years ago now.! :)

Perfette!
Esteticamente superlative, specie se montate in pendant con la sella brooks, come nel mio caso. Montano perfettamente sulla brompton e a prima vista sembrano di ottima qualità. Il montaggio è estremamente semplice anche grazie alla punta torx in dotazione nella scatola, utile anche per smontare le manopole originali brompton. Consigliatissime.

Excelentes puños.
Muy fáciles de instalar y de muy buena calidad. Los coloqué en una bicicleta Pashley Roadster Sovereign de 26 pulgadas y se ve fenomenal, la realzan mucho, porque hacen juego con el color del sillín (marrón antiguo), que también es de la marca Brooks (modelo B72).
