I bought these when some of the stakes that came with my Kelty tent bent. They are light and solid for a great price. The bright color keeps them from getting lost in the dirt or mistaken for someone else's. Good stakes!

As you likely know, most tent manufacturers include garbage stakes. Most are the typical shepherd hooks and are thin and flimsy. I like these stakes for their length and strength, yet they are light. Double-check the overhand knot on the pull rope to ensure it is nice and tight. I can recommend these stakes.

These are super lightweight and a great deal. I'm actually using them to support new trees, but hopefully will use them for camping later. They drive into the ground easily and don't seem prone to bending.

These are lightweight and worked much better than the original set that came with my tent.

Much less expensive than MSR Groundhogs, but also lower quality: most pegs have burrs on hand-cut barbs, and they bend even under careful placement. I used them in combination with the groundhogs, on two tents and only these pegs bent, not the MSRs (loamy forest soil). They’re probably best in softer spoiler where you have to cover them with a rock to hold in-place.

Just spent 12 days in Philmont tearing down and building my tent in a. Ew location every day. These stakes made the task of anchoring my tent a breeze. They also are very strong and did not bend as easily as the ones that came with my tent.
