Having read the reviews I would like to offer a couple of tips for this eyebrow pen.I have been using them for ages (I think I'm on to my fifth maybe more!) I have learned how to get the best out of them1. Storing- make sure you store it lid down in your makeup bag, that way the ink is always in the nib. Make sure lid is on properly.2. Apply on bare skin. Before moisturiser, serum, primer and makeup otherwise it is impossible to apply and you will think they don't work.3. Unless you have REALLY dark eyebrows brown is the best choice.4. Use light strokes and it will create fine lines that mimic eyebrow hair. The harder you lean the darker and thicker it will be.5. If the nib starts to wear and become blunt simply pull out from pen (gently with tweezers as you will get ink on your fingers otherwise) turn round and put in other way round. These pens are double ended.The pens are excellent and are 'semi permanent' I find it lasts all day, they do wash off with cleanser.Hope this helps

I got the dark brown, and it changed colour during the time i was wearing it to a dark grey,yes it lasts well but no more than 7-8hrs, when i recieved it it was dried up, but i had read another comment before it arrived which advised to take out the nib and turn it around, and that worked well .,

I like it right colour for me i hear what people say about it drying up quickly. I bought a second one after about 3 weeks of use ready for a holiday but held onto original. I now intersperse them and it seems to be less dry if not used everyday. Is expensive could do with perhaps a bogof with postage

Best brow product I've tried (out of other pens, pencils, powders and pomade's).Lasts all day and doesn't smudge at all - its also really precise which makes it so quick and easy to do your brows regardless of how you like them - I use it to recreate the texture of hair using fine lines, (works extremely well considering it is a pen and you'd think on a first impression it would just be like using a Sharpie but it's not - unless you want it to be).Been using it for at least 2 years now and its still the best - would definitely recommend!

Very disappointing. I ignored the other poor reviews because I so wanted the pen to work. But it is doesn't last any longer than any other eyebrow pencil. If I put it on under my foundation then putting foundation on wipes it off. If I put it on over foundation the pen doesn't work. Sorry, won't be buying another.

Having read good reviews I was very excited to order this item. As a MUA I have worked with different types of makeup to enhance your brows, from pencils to powders, fillers to creams but I wanted something that was waterproof and long lasting for an oilier skin type.It arrived quickly (let's start positively) and was protected by an envelope lined with bubble wrap.The colour I ordered was brown and although it appeared dark the liquid will move so you aren't left with panda eyes.So.... the makeup.....Having finally unwrapped the orange peel protective plastic wrap securing the top to the pen (5 agonising minutes of twisting the plastic and praying is doesn't break as the kitchen scissors are too big to wedge between the flimsy packaging and pen) and removing the lid you are face to face with a colouring felt tip angled at the tip to help define the eyebrow shape.Having lightly run the tip across the back of my hand I ascertained it was the correct colour and began colouring in my somewhat sparse eyebrows (the hairs fell out I didn't go mad with the tweezers).Problem 1. The colour only seems to flow from the sides and not the tip. So having followed the line of my eyebrow I found there was no colour where the hairs were but a glorious thick brown line below the hairs giving me a slightly sinister and yet surprised look.This led directly to problem 2. My makeup remover did not remove said line. This led to me going to work to provide makeover's to other ladies looking slightly drag queen-esque which may have been unnerving not only for the clients but also my boss.Problem 3. As the sides merrily drop liquid across your face the tip seems to half mop it up leaving you with streaky arches (in some cases the colour goes altogether so you have a kind of duo brow).I don't often leave reviews but this bargain left me little choice but to pop my thoughts down.As it is almost impossible to actually use I wouldn't say it is worth the money. It isn't waterproof either, my sluggish brows managed to escape from the brow down whilst sat in a pool area (I fully believe had I actually got into the pool they would have migrated and found their way to some poor unfortunates forehead).I will stick to gels and creams and pencils, oh my!

have been using these for two years and would never go back to traditional pencil which rubs off. The bonus is that when the tip has run dry to just pull it out and turn it over like a felt pen and you get another usable pen. these last me a couple of months each one, and having had no eyebrows since my teens and trying so many different pencils nothing comes close to these. Even swimming on holiday they didn't rub off. Brill
