Well these make my new down4sound JP8.4 amp ALT wine. very strange
Well this amp makes my new down4sound JP8.4 amp start ALT wine. Very strange. How can adding a sub amp make my other Amp wine as soon as I plug in the RCA! And it stops when I remove it. No wine on my sub connect to this AMP. So here are my thoughts and my opinion of the product.Good stuffThe value- Money to wattage is there and then some. (I paid $130 after taxes)The clip light is spot on! perfect! The amp runs stone cold.It can make a ton of power and seems very efficient. The thing is so small. You could Probably fit 2 under a driver seat. I am not joking. Its a clone of sundown 1000W amp (actually few amps are using the exact design).Meh stuffBass remote is pretty cheep feeling and in the cold could be prone to cracking. The RJ12 phone cord is straight garbage quality recycled plastic straws or something no joke. Replace with anything else you can find if using the bass remote.WTF 8 gauge remote wire connection? Plenty of room in that hole for 6 or 8 remote wires.- This last one is not the product fault exactly but it's crossover controls are trash. maybe -10db slopes on HP side and roll off -12db on LP. I am going to just use a DSP to dial everything in. Using my headunits controls now as they are way better than this AMPs controls. It may be the full range design is less flexible if using it as a pure sub amp. It does hit down low in the 20 hz's no problem but rolls off quick under 23-24hz.

Literally the best bang for your buck!
I'm a old school bass head that decided to fit my newer car ordered all Alpine it was sounding great until it didn't the Alpine amp could barely power a Dayton Max x 12 without shutting itself off. then lo and behold I try this out. solid, powerful, small can fit it almost anywhere And a clip light . What would make it better would be a fuse . So know what your doing or risk blowing something.I'm sold for life!!!Literally the best bang for your buck!

NO ROCKFORD REMOTES!!!!!
Do NOT install a Rockford Fosgate remote!!!!! Even though it is the same phone cord type plug. I did, thinking I was cool, had it turned all the way down even and there was a horrible clip when I started my truck. Now both brand new (well, 3mo old) Kicker Comp Cs are completely smoked. Locked up, straight toast. They were working flawlessly last night, and for months up to that point. Yes, I was pushing 400w rms constantly to each 250w rms/500w max speaker and they were almost dead anyways, but I figured if there are any other dummies like me out there with a spare RF remote....DONT DO IT.Amp is solid, havent ran it at 1ohm yet but since these just popped (literally 10 minutes before this review was typed) Ill be getting 2 new dual-4ohm subs to wire @1. Will update9/13/21 UPDATE: Ok no dvc but I have been running x4 10" 4ohm subs each 300w rms wired to 1 ohm and wow it pounds. Hits lows like I havent before. Subs are 2 flat qpower 10s and 2 cheapo SSL 10s. All 4 subs total cost as much as the amp. Havent done a multimeter test but I piss off all the neighbors pretty good. Solid test. For the record, I found the remote that came with this amp. Hesitantly, I plugged it in and it actually works really well. Kinda cuts off the subs around half (had tuned with it all the way up) but that could be because of my low level android head unit 2v signal. Everything works really well with this amp.EDIT/2ND UPDATE: Ok the bass knob definitely only works from about half to full. I have a preamp equalizer boosting the RCA's voltage now, so my signal is plenty loud. Even with the gain at like 3/4 (do not recommend) the knob only kicks on at 50%-100%. Not the end of the world, it still works, but not a very high quality bass knob. Literally about the only thing I can find to complain about with this $150 amp

High Hopes Dashed: A Tale of Disappointment!
When I first ordered the TOPSTRONGGEAR 1 Ohm 1500 Watts Class D Full Range Mono Block Amplifier, I was filled with anticipation. As an audio enthusiast, I had high hopes for this product, expecting it to enhance the audio experience in my car. Unfortunately, the reality of my experience was far from what I had expected. The moment the amplifier arrived, I could tell something was wrong. Despite the packaging appearing intact, my excitement quickly turned into disappointment as I discovered that the amplifier was not only non-functional but also exhibited immediate operational issues.Upon plugging the amplifier in and powering it on, the clip light came on almost immediately. This was a clear indication that something was seriously wrong. I checked all the connections, trying to troubleshoot the issue, but to no avail. The amplifier remained in a state of dysfunction. My initial plan was to install the amplifier in my car's audio system, but life often has a way of delaying such endeavors. I didn't have the time to proceed with the installation right away, so I set the amplifier aside, thinking I would return to it when I had a free weekend. Unfortunately, this delay turned out to be a grave mistake. By the time I got around to attempting the installation, the return window on Amazon had closed, leaving me with no recourse for returning or exchanging the product. This unfortunate turn of events has left me deeply dissatisfied, frustrated, and out of a significant sum of money. The TOPSTRONGGEAR amplifier, which I had hoped would enhance my car audio system, turned out to be a complete dud. The amplifier's malfunction was evident from the moment I plugged it in, and the fact that I was unable to return it has only added to my discontent. The situation raises significant concerns about the quality control of TOPSTRONGGEAR's products. The fact that an amplifier arrived in such poor condition, with immediate operational issues, reflects poorly on the company's manufacturing and quality assurance processes. It makes me question the reliability of their products and whether I can trust their brand in the future. What compounds my frustration is the lack of customer support or assistance from either TOPSTRONGGEAR or Amazon. The amplifier was defective from the get-go, and the absence of a functional product or a return option has resulted in a loss of not just money but also trust in the company's commitment to its customers.I would strongly advise against purchasing the TOPSTRONGGEAR 1 Ohm 1500 Watts Class D Full Range Mono Block Amplifier. My experience has been a lesson in disappointment and frustration, and I hope to spare others from a similar ordeal. It is essential for companies to stand behind the quality of their products and provide support for customers who encounter defects or malfunctions. In this case, I received neither a functional amplifier nor any assistance in rectifying the situation.he closure of the return window on Amazon before I even had the chance to install the product was the final straw in what has been a deeply unsatisfactory experience. It's left me with not only a broken amplifier but also a bitter taste in my mouth. I would encourage potential buyers to be cautious when considering TOPSTRONGGEAR products, as my experience indicates a significant lack of product quality and customer support. In conclusion, the TOPSTRONGGEAR 1 Ohm 1500 Watts Class D Full Range Mono Block Amplifier has been nothing short of a disaster. The amplifier arrived without physical damage but exhibited immediate operational issues and offered no option for return or exchange due to a premature closure of the return window on Amazon. This experience has raised questions about the reliability of the brand's products and the company's commitment to customer satisfaction. I sincerely hope that my review serves as a cautionary tale and helps others avoid a similarly disappointing experience.

Powerful little amp!
On the bench this guy puts out 420 RMS, which is way more than I anticipated for a small form factor and low priced class D amp!It really drives a single 8 inch DVC sub.Highly recommend!
