The old style would have but the new style do not block anything so steer clear until they see sense and go back to the old style ear plugs

how long do the ear plugs last?

This might be gross, but depends on how clean your ears are. I clean my ears every night before I use the plugs so they last. And of course you can easily wash them with soap and water, ensure you dry them. I think they are excellent and use them every night. Hope this helps.

Yes, if you do not have earwax or dunk them in coffee. I have used these earplugs effectively when travelling in cheap hotels with thin walls and couples next door bonking. I turn then the wrong way around and put the large part in my earhole by squeezing them into a small round tube. Then, I place micro-pore medical tape across the ear to stop them falling out, and, Hey Presto, a huge reduction in ambient noise. I swear by these ear plugs. Mine last for about one-week of heavy use.

These are bullet shaped - round at one end, flattened-off end on the other. The foam is stronger than most Hearos earplugs - heavy duty.
