DeWalt DT7002QZ 13mm Keyless Chuck
The DeWalt DT700QZ 13mm keyless chuck I purchased was just the job to fit my cordless drill, the old chuck having done alot of work and worn out. After having a good look round on Amazon, decided the name, spec and price was right for me.No problem with the purchase, arrived on time and free delivery. The fitting of the chuck is simple, even having a spline keyway and LH centre stud to tighten it up with.Good purchase.

Good replacement chuck
Bought this to replace a chuck on my Black and Decker KR-110 drill; the spindle lock was not gripping the spindle any more and so I couldn't tighten the chuck. Maddening that an otherwise fine drill should be useless because of the failure of one poorly-designed piece of plastic...Knocked the old chuck out by placing an allen key in and giving it an anti-clockwise tap with a mallet - it came out easily. The new deWalt chuck screwed in without a problem and I can now use the drill again. This chuck has a twin sleeve so no need for the spindle lock any more to lock in drill bits etc. It's solid, easy to operate and feels like it will give many years of good service having enabled the drill to be used again. Recommended.

Absolute junk.
I thought I'd leave it a few weeks before writing a review for this chuck, just to give it the benefit of the doubt. No matter what I try, this thing will not hold a twist drill securely enough and I end up with lots of my good drill bits with their shanks all burred up! I have strong grip strength but I also find that getting a good purchase on the tightening ring is impossible as its a tapered shape (to much taper) and to slippery to grip properly.Ive even resorted to using a large pair of pipe grips to try and tighten this thing more but it will still let the drill bit slip.Very suprised given its a Jacobs chuck. Its going in the bin when I find another replacement.

OK for price
Bought to replace original chuck which didnt hold drills securely. This one better but still not as good as it should be.

Seems top-quality
Had one of the pins misaligned in my old chuck and was looking to buy a new drill when this popped up in the items also looked at column so instead of spending this part of a couple hundred pound on a new drill decided to try replacing the chuck instead. Well it came next morning as described and was easy to replace after watching one you tube video and I know it shouldn't but the drill now that it drills straight without any wobble seems to be like a new drill again. Going to sound like my dad but sometimes make do and mend is just as good

Cheap and durable. This has been on my primary corded drill through a major three year renovation. It's starting to feel a bit janky now but it is still doing what it was designed for and I'd be surprised if it doesn't last another couple of years.
