Review: Java saxophone reed by Vandoren - I bought this reed as an alternative to the traditional Vandoren (blue packaged) reed. While the traditional reed is great for classical pieces the Java (green packaged) reed is more suited to Jazz and Pop pieces. I use a 2.5 reed and find it also works well in the Altissimo range.

I bought this reed as an alternative to the traditional Vandoren (blue packaged) reed. While the traditional reed is great for classical pieces the Java (green packaged) reed is more suited to Jazz and Pop pieces. I use a 2.5 reed and find it also works well in the Altissimo range.

Always great stuff but in the box, I found the great sound not many. the best one is only two or three! I don't know maybe just me!
