I am an intermediate pickleball player somewhere between a 3.5 and a 4.0. I play a couple of times a week and I've had three long-term paddles so far. This is by far my favorite so far. I was looking for a couple of things in my next paddle: face grip for spin, longer handle, larger sweet spot for consistency, and some additional weight. I am a 6'2", 185lbs so I wanted a heavier paddle that would give me more control on my drop shots, spin on my serves, and power for singles. I'm not one of those people who has played with 100 different paddles, so I can't say this is the best out of the huge field of new manufacturers, but I can say my older paddle was highly rated (Paddletek Tempest Wave II) and I could immediately feel the difference in my shots. Is it worth the top price? Maybe not, but now that they have a new Ben Johns paddle out, maybe you can find a deal on it. I'm happy with my purchase.

Absolutely awesome!

This paddle is light weight but can pack a punch. It has very good grip on the ball which helps with the accuracy in placing the ball. It also isn't overly hard, so this also helps in developing accuracy. Although it is not a power paddle, I have accidentally hit the ball out bounds several times on the back line, without swinging too hard, so it can develop some power. I believe that this paddle has improved my game as an advanced player. I would definitely recommend it if you are interested in finesse in placement and spin.

I bought this paddle in 2023 and have been playing with it for past 2 yrs on and off but it has started breaking from the middle and also the frame is coming off pretty badly. I somehow glued it so that I can still use it coz I have paid $180 bucks for it and wasnt expecting for it to be broken like this. Worse quality material used I must say so stay away from this or any other Zoola brands. I am soon gonna upload the pics too. Go Selkirk.

Joola paddles are one of the best in the market! I particularly enjoyed this Hyperion CGS because of the grip it has which helps give more spin to my shots. The wide grip is awesome, and the increased sweet spot definitely helped my game. Some say use beginner paddles if you're a beginner, but conversely I'd recommend this paddle for beginners to help your game go along faster!

Good quality paddle. Rough surface enables descent spin generation. Expensive!!!

I bought this paddle in October 2024, I really enjoyed playing with it, however while playing a game last week, it broke at the handle so therefore can't be fix, I contacted Joola but they wouldn't do anything to replace it, they said that it was only warranty for 6 months, I think for the price they sell them it shouldn't brake so easy while playing a game. I don't recommend to buy Joola because their warranty they give is not enough.

I received a used paddle. This is not acceptable and I don't get why this has been shipped to me. The grip was dirty and even some tape was missing with the paddle itself scratched all over. The buyer who initially returned it after so much usage should not have been refunded. I am returning it and I hope that don't put it back in inventory !
