ROLLINGDOG 18 Inch Paint Roller Set – Adjustable Double Arm Frame

This is an absolute game changer for painting for a few reasons, the brush width makes painting quicker and easier, the extension handle helps if you are short like me to get extra length without climbing up and down a ladder all the time and the roller leaves no fluff on the wall and washes out really easily some may think it expensive but it’s definitely value for money would definitely recommend it especially if you have new plaster walls and need to do a paint wash first ( ie 70% paint 30% water ) Just a heads up damper the roller first with water from a spray bottle to make easier coverage

Bought as I had a full house to paint and my god was it a life saver (I also purchased a pole separately) I got a large wall done in a matter of minutes compared to using your big standard sizes that would have easily taken maybe 45 mins to an hour and I'm not exaggerating Really good quality product 18 inch in size largest I could find anywhere Easy use and easy to clean Very durable

Excellent quality, makes rolling easy

I bought this in the hope that it would revolutionise the process of painting new plaster, and while it does offer some improvements, overall it is disappointing. The frame that holds the roller is surprisingly weak, as it’s extruded aluminium it bends very easily through modest pressure; during my first 6 hours I have bent it back into shape no less than 5 times. When the arms bend they drop the roller, which is a mess and a stress that I can do without. The roller itself is super wide, but as it’s only supported on the ends making it very difficult to achieve even pressure and application along its length, in real terms this means more time rolling the same spot over and over. Because the roller is attached on the ends, the frame limits how tight you can get to corners, leaning an even great margin to complete with a brush versus a standard roller. This protruding frame has sharp corners that will gouge the walls easily if you get too tight to a corner. I understand they use aluminium for weight saving, but its lack of rigidity is frustrating and detrimental to the performance. The tray has some great hydrophobic qualities making it easy to clean, but the dimensions are odd and the ramp doesn’t effectively remove paint from the roller so drips are hard to avoid. Cleaning the rollers is labour intensive; if they were cheap I would just throw away after use, but they’re not. It took about 5 minutes of constant running water and rubbing to get clean. The finish isn’t great, nor is it awful, but it is worse than a normal roller from Harris or similar. Overall it’s disappointing.

Een zeer goede en bijna lekvrije roller voor acrylverf en schilderen met deze roller bespaart echt enorm veel tijd. Je hebt wel een steel nodig om genoeg kracht te zetten. Een aanrader. Ik schilder vanaf nu enkel nog met deze grote roller.

These rollers cut our painting time in half! Maybe even more! The pile of the roller holds the paint so well that you can paint an entire wall after only dipping into the paint tray once. we painted our entire basement which is a 10ftx10ft space and it took no time at all. I used to hate painting rooms because I felt like it took forever with the smaller rollers and I never thought the coverage was as good as it could be. The coverage with these rollers in next level. Also, with the smaller rollers you typically have it so that the hand held part only goes into one side of the roller and sometimes I find that the roller easily slips off the tool while you are painting, because these ones are snapped in on both ends, you never have that issue. Easy to get them equipped, easy to take apart, easy to clean, everything about these makes the job so much easier. HIGHLY recommend!
