Wow what a shine !!!!!
Although I have a tub of the brasso fibre I needed the liquid version as I needed to get the liquid into the recesses of embossed containers. I put a dab of the liquid into the recess and left it for less that a minute and then used a tooth brush to clean the item and it came up trumps. Would highly recommend,mend this.

But it does this because it is slightly abrasive. Brass plated steel door fittings will rust and can be cleaned with Brasso.
