Overcooked: Gourmet Edition (PS4)

Best game ever for us as a couple.

This was bought for 11 year old daughter as a game that all 3 of us can play as a family. It is great fun and there are loads of different settings, chefs and tasks, but I found it increased in difficulty and became quite frantic a little too quickly. With 3 of us playing it was a bit like Gordon Ramsay's Kitchen Nightmares and there was a lot of shouting (mostly at me who was having her fair share of pan fires because she kept forgetting that you can't pick something up while you have something else in your hand). That said, I am a 48 year old woman, not an 11 year old gamer, so what do I know. You'll probably love it. I'm having physio on my arm.

My girlfriend and I decided to give this a go after hearing only good thing as about it, and we are so glad we did. There's a learning curve, which genuinely feels challenging, but the levels never feels overwhelming. The fast frenetic gameplay leads to lots of laughs and excitement. We've never cared so much about chopping tomatoes or beating meat! A great value game that has kept us happy for many hours.

Fantastic fun as a multilayer game. Certainly a change of pace from the usual FIFA/COD sessions with the lads. Pros: Excellent multiplyer game that is unlike anything else I have played Well presented with fun fluid gameplay Cons: Not as exciting in singleplayer Very short campaign

Hours of fun and entertainment. Bought it for the kids to keep them entertained during school holidays and hearing the non stop laughers, screams of joy and seeing broad smiles on kids faces makes this game worth every penny. The delivery was swift and game is as described (hence did not see the point of repeating in this review), suffice to say, I highly recommend it for family fun. (you will need extra controllers though, to enjoy the best, as it can accommodate up to 4 multiplayers).

Looked great but was not what I thought when played. Sadly exchanged it the next day.

It's a good game and quite a challenge and would be made easier with a 2nd person

Ich war schon lange auf der Suche nach einem Spiel, dass man ohne Onlineoption auch zu zweit auf dem Sofa zocken kann. Nach langem Suchen bin ich auf Overcooked! gestoßen und bereue es bis jetzt nicht. Die Steuerung ist sehr einfach gehalten und es können bis zu vier Spieler gleichzeitig spielen. Es ist ein witziges Spiel, dass ab und an auch schon mal zu Geschreie und zu kleinen lustigen Streitereien führen kann. Wer Bock auf ein Spiel hat, bei dem der Spaß-Faktor ganz oben steht ist hier genau richtig!

Quick, easy to deal with and as advertised product

Muy divertido para jugar con tus hijos. Mis hijas de 6 y 8 años se lo pasan genial, tienen que organizarse para preparar comidas y trabajar en equipo, te ríes mucho cuando se le acumulan las tareas y por ejemplo se prende fuego la cocina y ves salir al muñequito con el extintor. ah! Y mucho más barato que en tienda, y en español aunque en la caja ponga inglés.
