Good price and looks great once built

Kit is as expected from Airfix 1/72 scale,i have not built this yet but i have looked over the sprues and all is well except for a bit of flash, maybe some deeper scribing of panel lines.I think amazon may have had these kits for a while so be careful and check what you get on here as normally the paint is rescuable,however with this one the paint was dry and in flakes, I contacted airfix with photos of the dry and flaked paint along with other relevant information and they sent me one paint in a pot and the rest in where the newer dropper bottles as replacement paints, so that solved my issue.I would have ordered from airfix themselves as im a club member and it is generally cheaper than elsewhere with airfix kits but this seems to be no longer available.

Bought for my son who is starting out on model kit building. A good way of getting two kits at a reasonable price.

What a great kit with mostly everthing you need. I ordered model tools seperately with a needed craft knife, file and cutting mat, but the kit has all the paints, glue and brushes you need. The only downside was the scale of some of the parts. I managed to break a couple of tiny parts but tbh they were so small I left them off! The same with the decals; really some are so tiny you can probably leave them off unless you have a microscope! Great kit for the money and a huge challenge to complete!

Go this as a gift for my dads birthday. He was delighted.

Excellent Product to model build. Good price

The kit looks good, lots of pieces. Can't wait to get started. Sometimes a trip down memory lane is a good thing.*UPDATE* Only 3 of the supplied Paints were useable. Both the Spitfire and the Messerschmitt had incredibly bad fitting parts. The Spitfire: The fuel tank cover fitted but there were huge gaps on the sides of the fuselage. The cockpit all types don't fit at the rear. The Messerschmitt engine cover needed to be effectively clamped into place so the sides glued in and the top was level then needed filling because it had big gaps at the bottom. I was really looking forward to building these aircraft the Messerschmitt is now complete minus a few decals I screwed up / omitted (because of the fiddliness of them) The Spitfire is as yet still needs to be finished but I have lost interest in it for now.

Excellent plastic kit by Airfix for the intermediate builder includes two iconic aircraft from the second world war that can be displayed separately or in a "dog fight" pose atop an included stand. The detail on each is awesome, especially for the relatively small scale (1:72). I especially enjoy the separate, positionable rudder (on both planes) and the flaps on the P-51.

I am fairly new to A/C modeling and far from an expert. Let me begin by saying most of my past projects have been from Tamyia which I really like because of the uncanny FIT of the parts and great instructions. This kit provided neither. Part of it is I'm old and got the 1:72 size with smaller parts, therefore alignment problems. But my biggest complaint is with the instructions. A few pictures and basically that's it. It was a struggle trying to decipher what was presented.
