1 1/2" Basin Chrome Plated Plug with Chain Stay

I was very pleased with this product, which I ordered as a temporary replacement until I could get a plumber to replace my lever and pop up system, which was broken. However, it fits so well and was such good value that I might just keep it! I ordered on Sunday, it was dispatched on Monday and arrived on Tuesday, despite being advised of a much longer waiting time - all this and I wasn't charged postage! Excellent service, thank you.

Good quality plug and chain. Fits the plughole perfectly, with no leakage. Edited review one week after receipt of item: Note: Thought this was a really good plug, much better than rubber ones, but have only had it a week and there is already a patch of brass showing through on the inside of plug. I'm guessing that this is just a one off problem and will see when the replacement arrives.

It is good however it does leave a rust mark on the side of the sink after using. Just tie it round the tap to prevent this.

Good quality and excellent fit - as good as any proper rubber one and vastly superior to the usually rubbishy plastic efforts. These look good, have a nice weight to them and fit perfectly. Fast delivery and overall, I'm very pleased.

This is a lovely plug but strange that I wanted it to replace a 1 and a half inch other plug and it is too small for the gap. Measuring it this is indeed 1 and a half inches so must be an issue with the size stamped on my original plug.

Have always purchased these from a hardware store. First time from this seller and Never again. I attached this to my bathroom basin, then returned home after 3 weeks away to find this awful sight you see in the pic. Completely rusted chain. Left a horrible horrible mark on my lovely basin. I’m still trying to get rid of it a month later spending loads on different hard core industrial products but to no avail. Deeply regret this purchase. It’s ruined my basin. Do not purchase!
