High quality, low price.
My previous range of Sony bass boost headphones has been discontinued, a range i'd used for 15 years so looking for a replacement I tried a different brand that was uncomfortable, badly designed and of low quality. Lesson learned, the same day I went back to Sony and bought these.Firstly, and I know this will vary from person to person but I found them hugely comfortable. They come with four sizes of easily replaceable earbuds though the set they start with was perfect immedietly. Was in the ear properly forming the seal no matter how I moved around no bass was lost (a problem with the other brand). The sound quality is great, the bass comes through brilliantly if you get them in your ear correctly. I use them for both my ipod and my Playstation 4 through the TV and they have been excellent for both. The wire has no remote and a basic L shaped jack (gold plated) and is of a decent length so I can put my ipod in my pocket comfortably without feeling like it's pulling my head down. All in all a fantastic product at a great price.Recommended.+ Amazingly comfortable.+ Good wire length.+ Excellent sound.+ Great value.

Good value and sound. Happy Hifi enthusiast.
I’m a hifi enthusiast who appreciates good sound quality. The sound on these headphones is very good for the price point. You can’t pay £10 and expect miracles (they are a little bass and mid heavy) but overall I find them absolutely fine. You could spend ten times more but I tend to find that the better quality in-ear headbuds are inevitably bulkier and don’t sit as comfortably in the ear. When on the move or sat at my desk, I value comfort and ‘good’ sound quality over and above ‘superb’ sound. These sony earbuds meet these requirements perfectly. The different size rubber grommits that come with the unit mean that most people should find a comfortable fit. I can’t comment on longevity as I’ve only had them a few days but the actual ear unit seems of reasonable build. The wires are thin and light but I’m taking that as a positive as it means the set is lightweight and don’t pull on my ears. I’d recommend these units. At just under £10 I’d say they’re a bit of a steal.UPDATE: Ive had these almost six months now. I continue to be very happy with purchase. Lovely and light; comfortable; good sound; excellent value

How deep is deep?
Bought as a cheap pair of iPod/Laptop phones to replace a pair of similarly cheap EX75's which were suprisingly good & rich for sub £20 buds but after 3 years hard service finally succomed to the common 'loss of the right ear' fault. Initially these were a bit of a disapointment in comparison. Despite being sold as 'Deep Bass' they were not as full and bassy sounding as the EX75's only really delivering when the track had a strongly pronounced bassline. They also feel a lot flimsier than the 75's - the cable in particular feels thinner and of a cheaper, construction that seems to tangle just by looking at it (it does come with a cable tidy - no carry pouch - but again it's pretty cheap and basic, and means pushing those thin cables through a tight slot which seemed to be inviting breakage). On the plus side they look nice in shiny metallic red, are very comfortable in the ear for long periods and are so small you can lay your head down on a pillow without them digging in or getting knocked out.For £12 I didn't expect them to match up to my pricier EB40's or wonderful MDR-1A's but still expected a little more from Sony from previous experience of thier budget buds.Given the price it wasn't worth returning so stuck with them to see if a burn-in would change anything, and indeed after around 5-10 hrs they have improved a lot. The treble is less bright (whilst still being clear) and the bass response has certainly improved. Overall they now sound a lot warmer and closer to the EX75's they have replaced and for the low price I can live with the cheap cable.Recomended with a caveat - good sound for little money but they do need a burn in.Pros:Very comfortableGood warm sound once run-inLook good in metallic redGood fit due to interchangable tipsCons:Need a run-in period out of the box to get the best sound.Cable thin and prone to tangleNo carry pouch/case

An excellent product - bearing the Sony brand is probably why.
I have a hearing issue in my left ear and other earphones have never really been adequate, leaving me with a muffled sound when in use. Inevitably I would remove the left earphone which meant I lost any semblance of stereo and whilst I could hear the speech reasonably clearly in my good ear, it was still a disappointing experience. The difference with this set is amazing. Crystal clear diction, clear music and overall, a fantastic product for the price. Truely prevents any sound leakage (great as I tend to listen to the radio in bed, much to the annoyance of my wife who still hears the noise) and even my wife has complimented me in the new earphones.I particularly like the little plastic accessory which enables you to 'shorten' the cable and being equipped with a range of spare/different size in-ear covers make it a 5 star product in all departments.Certainly one to recommend

Excellent sound quality for the price
I was really pleasantly surprised by the sound quality of these for the money, I'm a music producer so I'm mega fussy about sound quality, but I just destroy ear bud earphones in the gym so I don't pay top dollar for them. These honestly sound great, nice weighty bottom end and a nice clear top end without being piercing, they don't carry the type of sound quality you get from higher end products, they don't have the same richness you get from some of the top end stuff, but they cost a fraction of the price, I like them so much I'm going to get a back up pair because I'll probably only get about 12 months out of these, the build quality doesn't seem amazing, but I'm not sure how much you can expect for £12
