Less effort than heatgun
The excellent, used it on odd staircase columns which I thought might be led based, but this product took the paint off well enough. Don't expect it to be easy but it's less effort than a heat gun and a scraper. Still needs some scraping but less effort.

Expensive but worth the money
Tried nitromorse paint remover, a heat scraper, brick acid/degreaser and non of them came close to removing the paint from the brick. I bought the trial version peelaway 1&7 mainly because I was sceptical, the 1 did nothing to the paint on the brick, the 7 removed it brilliantly. Please note; it doesn’t just peelaway the paint, I had to scrub with a scourer and hot water, so it’s hard work but removing paint generally is. Also note; it’s great on the brick front but not so good on the brick cement. Hope this helps.

Good product
I received my tub of peelaway 7 today with the intention of using it tomorrow. I initially thought there was no blanket or spatula supplied, however this is inside the tub in a bag.

Expensive and Mediocre job
Exactly as the title say. I bought this in hopes of a quick and easy removal. I loved the idea of putting it on and 3 days later removing the paint with a quick peel off. That obviously didn't happen. First things first the picture shows a 10kg tub but there are 3 sizes. Beware of this. I knew what I was buying but only because of the reviews, so I'm also highlighting this. Now on to the product, the scraper and bags are included but for the 4kg tub you get 3 bags which isn't enough for the amount of product. I ended up using bin bags - don't buy expensive branded peelaway bags. Those bags are a scam for what is needed. The amount I bought wasn't enough to cover my whole wall. I bought this in hopes that it would be cheaper than paint panther because I needed 4 tins which would have cost the same as the peelaway. But with less effort right? WRONG. I still needed to scrape the paint stripper and only managed to cover 3/4 of the wall. I was really disappointed given the hype. Great seller though. They were quick to deliver and respond to any queries. If only the product was as good as them.

Scrapeaway, brushaway, takeshoursaway….. not peelaway 😃
Good stuff…. But it shouldn’t be called peelaway, more like scrape, brush, and elbow grease away. The owners of my house before me decided to patch up the mortar on a beautiful bare brick fire gap with silicone filler then white wash it with emulsion…. yes you decide… So I coated it thickly with this stuff and waited 72 hours checking every 24 hours. I scraped off a panel at a time from the top down with a decorating scraper and caught most of it in the plastic sheet. A wire brush and water made a milky paste so I decided to try a wet towelling cloth then changed the water. Brush, cloth, change water, 3 times in all with a mini trowel to pick out the silicone. 90 mins per half square meter. It is doing the job though where other paint strippers haven’t. I am convinced this is the best product for taking paint off brick, others have suggested using a pressure washer but than wasn’t an option for me inside. Is was gloopy to apply and a ball ache to take off, yet it’s done the job to a rustic finish which is what I wanted, may need to do a bit of repointing though as a lot of mortar came away with all the scraping of the silicone. Wear gloves, keep your arms covered and undress straight into the washing machine, then shower, this stuff smells like almond paste and burns like hell 😊

It does work
It did work at removing the paint from the brick wall but my god it was a messy job that had to be done in sections. Looks about 3 weeks and was a horrible job to do. Reason I haven’t given it more stars is because I needed more peelaway7 so ordered some and they sent peelaway1. It was a lot harder to work with and really left a sour feeling. You’ll need a wire brush and a wire brush drill attachment.

Excellent product that does the job brilliantly!
We had a conservatory that had been painted on the outside wall around 15-20 years previously and nothing including Nitromor would touch it. I saw Peelaway 7 on the internet and decided to buy this to remove the white paint. My husband painted it on with a brush and then used the spatular provided to go over each section before putting on the plastic covering. We did leave it for 48 hours before taking it off using both a steel brush and our pressure washer. It came off easily and had removed the paint really well, there is only a very tiny residue in some of the bricks that will come off with a bit of wire brushing. We are SO pleased with how well this product has performed and would definitely recommend this to anyone wanting to remove stubborn paint.

Overpriced and a lot of work
We bought this stripper to remove paint from decorative plaster work. It does remove the paint but doesn’t seem to produce the peel away effect they show in the videos. It is a lot of work to remove the gunk and takes hours to do a small section. We will complete one section and then stop because we have better things to do with our lives.
