Excellent value for a hard to find item
My very old Nano I-pod (Apple no longer make them) appeared to have given up the ghost. On looking at the charging cable I could see that fatigue has set in on the cable. This cable is very hard to find and Apple themselves wanted an outrageous £19 for theirs. This is an EXCELLENT alternative and also Apple approved. Why go anywhere else. It arrived next day by Royal Mail and my I-pod is now back in fully working order.

Superb lead for charging older Apple gear
Superb lead, much better than the ones we had been trying to use. This charges an old iphone 3g, an iphone 4 and ipad 2 (or 3, can't remember which one it is) with ease - no more wondering if the device is going to charge or not.Would recommend this lead - you pay a bit more than some, but you get a better product.

Well Recommend the Product
Yes, you can get these anywhere but I liked the look of it, both for length so that you can carry on using the equipment whilst charging and as I have now found, a good speed of charging and my Wife very pleased with how it looks. Can't really say much more but a great buy.

It actually works!!!
After buying at least two leads from shops that didn't transfer data let alone charge, I had my reservations. However this works, and it works well. Straight away my Windows 10 PC picked up my iPOD classic and listed all the files. It also started charging it up. I navigated to MUSIC and with the help of a freeware Mp3tag I should be able to unscramble the names of the songs and hey presto rename them and listen to tines I haven't heard for years! All is good in the hood!

Brilliant
Great lead (it works.) I bought this to replace a pack of five cheapos. 30pin devices aren’t too common these days, but this is for my IPod Classic and I use it fairly frequently to sync with ITunes library on my laptop. Connects first time every time.Spot on.

Better than cables currently supplied by Apple - see reason why below.
Second order of this cable - for a family member. They are fine identical to my first order; and... unlike those supplied currently by Apple - they don't get stuck/jammed inside the usb ports. Many usb connectors from Apple (currently) have much deeper indents in the lower side and this means the sockets's retaining "lugs" get stuck inside those indents and the "plug" cannot easily be removed... There is way to get them out; slide a very thin piece of plastic in under the lower face of the connector - and this will release the socket pins/lugs. A man's shirt collar bone/stiffener is ideal for this. There is youtube video about it:https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5pkC8QPBt3EIt refers to the lightning cable, but of course applies equally to other cables currently supplied by Apple.

Just the ticket.
I feared that my aging iPad had died because the battery would not charge. It was suggested that the problem could be the charging cable so the most cost effective way to check this was to buy a replacement. The day after I ordered this Poweradd charging cable my iPad is up and running once more. The dock connector fits snugly into the docking port and the cable appears to be sturdy.

Links songs to my ipod 5th generation
Bought it to link my 2005 ipod 5th gen video (still going strong) to my lap top as the original cable had withered and died. Did the transfer of songs from itunes no problem. Did not charge the ipod though but i have a separate adaptor plug to do that so I am covered...i got the cable primarily to update songs on to the ipod...
