Manic Panic Classic Vampire Red Semi-Permanent Hair Dye (118ml)

Wow wow wow this has to be the best hair dye I've used so far and definitely worth the investment! I'd previously used much cheaper brands including directions and recently crazy colour which took 2 rounds of dying to fully saturate pre lightened hair and nearly the full bottle but this stuff is 10x more pigmented and I didn't even use that much in the tub at all and it's this bright in one go! So far I haven't experienced much staining at all as other reviews have stated and honestly, with the right cleaning products, any that I did get on my bathroom surfaces have come up just fine. £20 for 2 tubs might seem like a lot but honestly with how little I used on the first go, these 2 tubs are going to last me over a year! Very very happy and I looked fabulous for my friends wedding!

I used to use manic panic when I was at university, but haven't used it for years. Recently I lost my hair to chemo and it grew back prematurely grey. It was making me a bit miserable so I decided to dye it a bright colour and went back to manic panic. You DO have to be prepared for it to dye your life as well as your hair for a little while, but it IS a temporary colour, it comes off things. When I used it back in the day I'd clean the shower right after dying it so as not to annoy anyone. This time I live alone and so just didn't bother to clean up, I was surprised when on my next shower almost all of it came off the wall of its own accord. The rest came off easily the next time I cleaned the shower. It comes off skin easily too, although I'd recommend vaseline around the hairline before dying. I actually managed to get some on the white painted wall at one point and it came off with an alcohol wipe. The only place I have trouble getting it off is my finger nails. The colour is much more vibrant than I expected, clearly grey hair agrees with it, I'm very happy with it. It's very easy to apply and was gentle on my newly grown hair. I have plenty left for additional colouring over the next month or two, it is too soon to say when I'll need to reapply.

Forever my favourite dye. Makes me hair incredibly vivid and it fades absolutely beuautifully. It also can last a few months. I dyed my hair purple in october and it lasted about 2 months despite me using hot water every shower.

I used this on my sister, can say it definitely works and lasts, nearly a year later, there’s still red - though not as vibrant. Minus one star for staining and because people don’t always want it to last so long

Very vibrant even on virgin (dirty blonde) hair! Application, process, vibrancy, & colour all flawless. Yes it does fade around the 3rd wash but still leaves a very pretty colour (looks intentionally pastel) and definately does not just all wash out. Really pleased with the colour pay off, how even it looks, how it fades, and the colour overall! Would really recommend giving it a try considering it’s semi-perm :)

Absolutely disgraceful, the staining of skin blue is awful, even days after washing it several times it’s still stains the skin blue, waking up and the skin is blue, the dye was meant to be black it went on blue and has now turned purple/blue and turned the roots green. This is awful and can see after now reading the reviews manic panic have don’t nothing to change the faults of this product for well over a year. Steer clear do not buy

AMAZING! Been dyeing my hair pink for the last 6ish years and just got this ... the colour is stunning and the pots go a looooong way! I bought 6 as i have long hair and only used 2 tubs! Will definitely be buying again

The dye took well but the colour didn’t match the sample picture on hair or in the pot. I was hoping for a vibrant forest green but what I actually got was the same as manic panic shocking blue with better results. I’ve been blue for a while now so it’s not the worst situation but it’s not what I was hoping for. I bleached my hair completely white before this so it had a good base, this is the accurate colour.

Sono rossa tinta quando perdo il colore solitamente uso la maschera semipermanente della Refletone red e perfetta.ho voluto provare manic panic wildfire e praticamente quel poco che ha preso più che rosso ha lasciato un leggero aranciato. Ho perso tanto tempo per poi dover riutilizzare quella che usavo prima.peccato

I ordered the color lie locks in the size trio, but I only recieved one container instead of the three promised.

Ho i capelli completamente decolorati del biondo più freddo e chiaro possibile ma non ciò sono venuti VERDE SLAVATO. Tenuta in posa 1h, assurdo, soldi buttati. Ps: La zona di sopra è azzurrina ed è normale che sia slavata, era serata tinta (devo ancora applicare l'azzurro).

A lot a lot a looooottt of pigment, shows up also on my darker hair its so pretty 🙂‍↕️
