I have bought another snuggelsafe heatpad so now have two. Heating 1 heatpad requires 6 mins but heating 2 at once do I heat them for slightly longer?

It would be safer in my view to heat them separately instead of guessing how long to heat two and chancing overheating them. I only have one.

It says this is 2.5 cm thick. I want to put it under a thin 'throw' on an armchair my very old cat sleeps on. Won't it feel like a hard lump ?

Carole yes it would feel like a hard lump, I would use a thicker fluffy blanket. This would make it softer but also would help to distribute the heat more evenly for her, or what about putting a bit of soft filling in a cushion cover and slip the heating pad in too then put your throw over the top of that? is the product suitable for my old labrador who has arthrtis in is bag leg?

As its only the size of a tea plate, i'm not sure how much relief it would give to a large dog? I bought this for my cat, and I put it under a cushion in the cats igloo bed to keep out the cold when she sleeps in the conservatory. She's always snug and uses it often, but i'm not too sure how it would suit a larger dog.
