Good pump but....
I like this pump, this is my second purchase. I ran the first pump 24/7 and it ran for 3 years. However I am giving this a 3 because after I installed the diffuser disk, tubing along the bottom of my pond and plugged in the pump I had no air flow at the diffuser. It turns out the rubber insert inside the check valve had no slit, only a crease where the slit should be so it blocked the air flow. I cut along the crease with an exacto knife which resolved the problem. This cost me an hour as I had to rerun the tubing and place the diffuser disk on the bottom again which I pulled up looking for a kink that wasn't there. Maybe a little more QA is in order.
