Perfect for Beginner Stampers & Scrapbooking/Paper rafts!
I create scrapbook/visual journal pages using a collage method so I watch you tubers for reviews and such, when it comes to some supplies or getting started with something new. An accomplished stamper did a comparison between several black ink pad options and this came out really well - it's not water-based so it needs a moment to dry but if I stamp a design then use any glues or want to colour the design in using felt tips, I can without the black outline ink running. I don't have a stamp block or anything fancy, I just use a plastic ruler that has gridlines on it - stick my silicone stamp of choice to it, gently apply the mini stamp across the surface to add ink, then press the aligned design on the ruler to my project. Good price & excellent quality!

Not suitable for glossy paper
I bought this to stamp names onto my wedding place cards. Unfortunately, not knowing much about ink and paper types, I didn't realise this wouldn't be suitable for glossy paper. I left the ink to dry for over an hour, but still it smudged and bled. I'm sure it will be fine for use on matt paper, but I had to buy another brand that is suitable for glossy paper.

Good for sentiments
I use this ink to stamp sentiments in my cards. It stamps nice and crisp. Nice and clear not a faded black . I would definitely buy this again

It's a very good product
Others that I had used for some reason smudge quite a bit but this is very good and the ink very dark and clear. Really good buy. Nice small box too.

Love this ink; best for stamping detailed images or sentiments
I've only recently starting using Versafine ink for stamping and I just love it. The difference in the detail you get in comparison to other pigement and dye inks is amazing. I know the versafine are not recommended to use with alcohol markers as they can bleed but I stamp my image first and then put clear embossing powder over the stamped image and heat with my heat tool; then you can use with alcohol markers with no problems. It also gives a great cushion effect when colouring and you're less likely to go outside the lines. It also makes fussy cutting so much easier. I've bought quite a few versafine inks and they are my go to when stamping. The black is also clearer and darker than most pigement or dye inks. I will definitely be buying the larger version of the Versafine Onyx Black and some other colours as they are great for sentiment stamps especially the ones with small print or detail.
