Does the job, mice seem to like it.

We bought the big cheese mousetraps, so decided to buy bait paste as well. The paste looks very unappetizing and we were quite surprised that this would be even remotely attractive to mice. We were pleasantly surprised that it does seem to work and mice are attracted. However we found that a digestive biscuit seems to be equally attractive. It's therefore really a matter of personal choice whether you buy the paste. However The traps were very effective. With 10 minutes of setting the first trap, we heard a loud snap and the first mouse was caught. It was a little gruesome as it was still twitching when we checked the trap. We have used the traps since and generally catch one mouse at least a night and often both traps have been triggered. I don't like the process but we were overrun with mice in the kitchen and the traps have been effective in reducing the problem.15 October.Update. I have revised my original opinion from 4 to 5 stars as last night the mice actually ate through the plastic tube to get to the paste within. I think this does conclusively prove the mice like the bait but it's a lot more effective if it's actually in the trap when they eat it. I will be purchasing a new tube.

I tried a ton of humane methods before resorting to snap traps, and this was the first bait that actually worked for me. I tried peanut butter, chocolate spread, various other tasty things and all were ignored but this caught me two in the same day. It comes out of the tube in a perfect little amount to fit the receptacle on the traps so convenient and super easy to use, and no mess. Make sure to handle the trap with gloves on while you're baiting and placing it because they are repelled if they smell human on it

Bought this in the hopes of catching more rats. Easy to use, doesn’t really smell and easy to clean out of traps. However the rats couldn’t care less, I’ve caught more using chocolate and peanut butter than with this. Very small tube for the price and size I would expect better results.

This did nothing, the mouse went past the traps with it on & went to the one that I had put a strawberry in. Complete waste of money.

Purchased with the twin set traps, and worked on the first night. Very pleased.
