A useful collection of roadtests - lets you know what people thought of the car at the time rather than with the benefit of hindsight.

Very useful Jaguar book.A must have if you are after or own this model.Well written and easy to follow.Lots of useful tips and ideas.

It's a nice to have book(let) that contains lot's of written articles (like from magazines/newspapers) that have been published over the years about the XK8/XKR and a little background information.

This book is a selection of magazine articles drawn from the lifetimes of the XK8&R, some of which are in colour. There is, as one might expect, a lot of duplication and not as much detail as one might hope to find in a fully fledged book.Having said that, it gives a nice summary of how the press saw the car over its production lifetime.

As stated in my title - and by a previous reviewer - this book is a compilation of road tests from 1996 - 2005 (US & UK magazines, incl. What Car, Car, Car & Driver, etc). As it happens, this is exactly what I wanted as I hunt for my own used XKR, but I really think the title of the book should allude to the fact that there is no 'new' text at all. Road tests and more road tests... very good, but I am docking one star because the title of the book is slightly misleading.
