Please, someone made a comment to add perfume...PLEASE DO NOT DO THIS! Perfume can be very irritating to the skin and a lot of people with SENSITIVE SKIN cannot tolerate products with perfume. It is actually really perfect just the way it is; mild yet effective.

It may look all crumbled and littered in pieces,but I tell you if you can try as much as possible to put them together like a dough,you will be amazed at the end result.It is soft,squidgy and lathers so beautifully and doesn’t dry out the skin easily.Perfectly working for my children’s eczema.Great quality and great value for money.Highly recommended.

I use it for body washing rather than my face and it works well. The only reason why it’s 4 stars and not 5 is because of how crumbly it is.

Ok so it doesn't look appealing but this is what a lot of African soaps are made from. The only difference is with this one you have to mould it yourself into shape. I'd rather do this myself than pay a premium for the same thing.I have very dry skin and find this much less drying than other soaps and I love the fact that it's natural. The only down side is there's no scent, but I'm fine with that, I have my perfume and deodorants :)

The Black Soap I usually buy via Amazon, has been unavailable for a bit and I'm running out. So I thought I'd try this one as it has overall good reviews. Been using black soap for many years now. I am used to purchasing it in the markets when I visit The Gambia so think I know what I'm talking about!! Arrived mega swiftly, which was great. However on opening the large plastic tub, I was seriously disappointed to see the contents was totally full of crumbs of the soap which was light brown in colour. Not what the black soap I'm familiar with. Most black soaps have a tendancy to crumble . However, in my experience, you should be able to cut a decent quality one if it comes in block form, into sections to suit your own personal needs. Large knife ?..very little crumble. Soap should not be light brown but dark brown... Have asked for a refund.

I love African black soap, this is a good value for money. But unfortunately most of it is broken gritty and I am mixing it with water and using it as liquid soap as it's the only way.

Very good quality.I love the smell of soap.Very natural,earthy smell without strong chemical perfumes.My family stopped using comercial gel or soaps nearly 3 years ago and most of the time we use black soap.I use little organza bags for this soap,so it's easy to use in the shower.Otherwise it's going to the shower drain.And also it looks very nice and posh in the different color shiny bags and much easier to take it from soap dish.Some people find it too dry,but for us it is perfect

This is a top class soap , very deposit cleanse and leaves your skin feeling amazing, ,it's totally natural and is worth trying ,, love it ,, I'm very happy and can't help giving some to my friends who equally have commented it's a lovely product :)Recommended even just to try ,, many thanks :)
