Much more impressed with these than I thought I would be. I wanted them to add some extra coverage and greenery to some new railing on a first floor terrace balcony and din't want the hassle of real ivy. The main thing is how real or fake they look and on this front I was super happy - from ground level you absolutely can not tell they're fake at all. Even if you're on the balcony you can't tell unless you're right up next to them and even then it's only by closely inspecting the stems that you can see they aren't natural. The leaves themselves look very good, very natural and the variation in sizes (roughly 1 to 2 1/2 inches wide) and detail adds to the effect. They also hang really nicely and very naturally.This 72 feet pack I went for comes as 12 separate garlands with each one measuring approximately 5 feet, so you can get very good coverage with them. To add to the realistic effect I didn't skimp on them and bunched loads up together in each corner of the railings at the front of the balcony and then slowly fanned it out with lighter coverage as though it was creeping along the railing like it would natural and think I've done a very good job with it, as do others. I've juts ordered another pack as think they're great and want to increase the coverage and add some to the side of the balcony too.Really pleased, just a shame there's no indication of the level of UV protection or how well these will last outside, but I purchased them based on another reviewer saying they had lasted well outdoors and they're pretty cheap if not and I thought worth taking a punt on.

I bought two packs of this artificial ivy and was in my front garden covering my pipes with it when my neighbour popped over to collect a parcel from me. He said "That is going to grow all over the front of your house!!" I laughed and explained it isn't actually real. He then thought it was fabulous! :) Another neighbour also commented on how nice & real it looks. I think that says it all really!When it arrived in two small bags I was a bit wary as to how much coverage I'd get but it covers well if you use two or three strands overlapping each other and tie it up in a non uniform way. I'm using green garden wire and green cable ties from the pound shop to fix it up.A few leaves have fallen off during the process and I've kept them just in case I decide to glue them back on, but it isn't really necessary. Fingers crossed it weathers well and lasts for years.Before and after photos - I used two packs but have ordered a third because I can still see my pipes and I'm a bit of a perfectionist. I've added a photo of one pack still sealed and next to it are the contents of the other pack. To show how much they "fluff up".

The product came very quickly and very well packed for me to be able to just unravel and start using them. I used them as interior decor and it looks very authentic and realistic also very good paired with some warm led lights and makes for very good decoration. They have long strands so it’s very easy to cover a lot of length. All in all a very good product and would recommend for indoor and outdoor use.

I am very pleased with my purchase, the only reason this item did not receive five stars is that I live on the Atlantic coast of Scotland and so am plagued by high winds. Due to these winds a few of the leaves have come loose from the vines. I suspect that if you live inland or in more temperate climes than Western Scotland then these would be absolutely ideal. Firstly they look good. I have them twining around my garden gazebo and from a distance they look real upon closer inspection you can see that they look artificial but are still great to look at. They are easy to attach to any wooden structure, I used a staple gun but any type of "Tie" would suffice. Lastly, there was more length and coverage than I expected allowing me to thicken the strands I used. In my opinion this item is well worth the money and looks very good indeed.

Colour doesn't last longer than a month. Product, in windy environment, doesn't last longer than 6 months.
