Great way to start model railway. You can build a simple base board, then glue this on and then start adding track. Gets you going, extending and gives a great track layout.

Comes folded so there are lines on the mat. I did expect this from other reviews. I laid this with an adhesive spray and thin double sided tape on wooden boards. Size 6 x 4 feet. When flattening and smoothing out be careful not to rip the paper. Really pleased with final product.

Very good for money

fairly typical low end Hornby product; feels quite cheap and flimsy but it's a necessary evil if you want a track layout (for your child?) and don't want to go the whole creative process.
