Lightweight and easy to use
I was pleasantly surprised by how much I’ve enjoyed using this product. Unlike my traditional salad spinner, cleaning and drying the Saladzilla is a breeze (I just hang it on a hook in my kitchen for a couple of hours, versus trying to carefully place the two large and bulky components of my plastic spinner on the dish rack so that they dry completely before I store them away). It took a little trouble shooting on my end which I quickly was able to work around after practicing (if you accidentally stop your swing mid motion and while the product is up in the air you are going to get water on the floor—oops)! I like the concept and feel good about putting less plastic into landfill. It’s not a cheap product for how little fabric it uses but if it is really as durable and long lasting as they say then I think it should be worth it. I only wish it had been around years ago when I was camping a ton and craving green salads while out in the woods!

Lightweight and Easy to Store
Saladzilla is lightweight and fits easily in the drawer.I was concerned that water might spill out when spinning the item, but the water stayed in the blue bag attached to the bottom.Compared to the plastic spinner, it holds a large quantity of lettuce.Saladzilla is in the right direction for saving plastics and reducing landfill waste. It is somewhat practical, but does it make a long-term difference, and worth the extra cost?Nowhere in the video directions did it say to attach the blue pouch, this was done only by instinct. Also, the video with the product explains an elaborate folding procedure, but I found that inserting the folded top into the blue pouch and laying it flat in the kitchen drawer works best.Is there a suggested way to clean and or dry the item? Can it be stored wet?

button fell off after first use
Great idea, however, the product' workmanship needs improvement - one of the buttons that holds the bottom fabric "pan" fell off after first use. Returned product.

Super Easy To Use And Dried In 5 Minutes!
The media could not be loaded. I love saladzilla! It is super easy to use and dries my greens fast. Unlike the big plastic bowl spinners that are hard to turn, this spinner simply uses gravity as you twirl it in the air for less than 1 minute. It dries in about 5 minutes and then I store it in the drawer. Voila...a great item to have for everyday use or travel!

Easy to use but a little annoying
I liked that this item was free from plastic, lightweight and compactable. I expect this to be more durable than the plastic salad spinners. It was super easy to use. The first time I used it I spun it outside just in case and I didn't make a mess of the water on the floor at all. I felt comfortable using it indoors 100% after that.Downsides for me included how awkward it was to pull the lettuce out after I washed it. It just wasn't as easy as the traditional style spinners. It also wasn't super practical in the sense that I couldn't just hand wash it and put it away. I would have to put it in the washing machine and then let it dry out before I could put it away and then what if I wanted to use it while all that was happening? So the alternative for me is it doesn't get washed every time I use it. I just let it hang to dry in between uses and will wash it once in a while.

What a WOKE product for a sustainable lifestyle
The top two reasons why everyone should have a Saladzilla is because of how much space it saves in your home and how sustainable this product is. I don’t see myself having to throw away this high quality and heavy duty material anytime soon. It is very durable and can withstand a beating. And it folds up so small that I can fit it in my utensil drawer!

If space is your main priority, this is a fantastic product
This was not a good fit for us. What I was looking for was a salad spinner that could handle more lettuce--our current spinner is cheap and it is quite small. The saladzilla said it could process 2 gallons of material. All right, full disclosure, I found the booklet about the product kind of insufferable…get rid of your plastic salad spinner because it’s terrible for the earth (“pollutezilla”)…but if i already have a salad spinner, the most sustainable thing is to NOT BUY something new and use my plastic one forever, right? No matter how sustainable your manufacturing of this product is, it still has to be driven to my house and I already have the plastic one so surely you aren’t suggesting I throw it out? Upon reading it again, they imply that the plastic salad spinners break constantly…I might be unusual in that I’ve never broken a salad spinner.Apart from that, this is an interesting product and if space is your main concern, you should go ahead and buy this. Space is not our main concern--we already have a dedicated space for our salad spinner. My husband is the one who usually cleans the lettuce, so I reminded him yesterday to use the new spinner and tell me how it goes. He said it was fun, effective, but more of a pain to use than the cheapie one. I asked why and he reported: the rinsing was annoying, attaching the pieces together was annoying, and he anticipates the swing to be less fun in the future once the novelty has worn off. Tonight for dinner we had big salads again, and I noticed that even though I left the saladzilla very visibly out for him to use, he elected to use the smaller, plastic one from the cabinet, which I know from past observations he would have had to fill and spin multiple times to get enough lettuce washed. So it’s a good product, even a great one if you are trying hard to save space, but not our preferred one. Even though it can handle more lettuce in one go, it is still not worth the small operational irritations for us.
