Report from a chilli-head - it's hot
I grew up on curries, the hotter the better. Used to love chilli sandwiches when I was a kid. A phall is the only thing that gives me pause but I usually manage to finish them (even though I end up with lips like Satch'mo). As someone else reported, this oil is between a vindaloo and a phall in hotness. It seems fairly innocuous at first but the heat soon builds up and keeps building up with every mouthful of food. The first chilli oil I have ever tried that is wickedly hot.In fact it is a bit too hot for slopping on everything every day. I keep it for mad days when I want a hit of fire. The Trinidad Scorpion by the same company is plenty warm enough. And if you want something to chuck liberally on food where it doesn't spread out very well and pools a bit (like a pizza or doner kebab) then the Naga oil is probably better.Anyway, I'm happy. Love it!

My new favourite chili oil
I think the flavour is amazing and the oil is (as there’s general consensus for amongst the reviewers) very hot. I'll be back for more when I run out.Edit: and I was, and unfortunately my next purchase was damaged in transport with oil seeping out. Amazon's bot refunded me, but it seems the bottles are a little too fragile for the shipping method. I'll try again, but I hate the idea of the potential for waste if buying more.

Good heat, neutral taste
This is straight up chilli in oil without the bits. If that’s what you’re looking for, this is the one. It’s got the heat and the carrier (olive oil) seems like a decent quality as well. The spice level is perfectly in line with what I would expect from a Naga oil. Maybe even a tad more than I expected - which was fantastic! I sort of wish it was a little more complex in flavor, but overall, it’s a good oil to complement lots of different dishes because it lacks complexity.

Too spicy for me
Hot. Very hot. Too much hot. I use it for pizza and was looking for very hot oil, but this one is actually too much. Would be good to rate on Scoville scale, but it would be, maybe, a 8/10 as much spicy.

This is what I'm talking about !
Ok, so for people that think a Vindaloo curry is hot - It's time to change your thinking ...... Just to give you an idea (and I consider myself to be a Chilli head), Madras curry Heat scale for me 0/10, Jalapeno peppers 0.5/10, Vindaloo 3/10, Thai red curry made with LOTS of birdseye chillis 4.5/10, Phall curry 8.5/10, a teaspoon of this mixed into a salad for one, 7.5/10 - Great stuff, love it. Gets the endorphins flowing ...

Stupidly hot for me
This cooking oil ads the right amount of mouth burn but where it painfully gets you is when it comes out i would advise making sure your toilet paper or wipes are extremely cold and if your not used to chilli then try something weaker before getung to this one or will regret it

Hot but Awful
This oil is indeed very hot, which is good, hence not one star, however, it has a completely overwhelming flavour of olive oil which is horrible. when i say "overwhelming" i really mean it; just a small amount ruins pretty much anything you put it in or on. unless you love the taste of olive oil, absolutely steer clear of this.note: to be clear, the heat is not the problem at all, i'm used to things like Scorpion Heartbeat Hot Sauce, which is just over 60,000 Scoville.

Olive oil with a kick but not the Chilli oil I was looking for.
If you are looking for an Olive oil with a kick this is probably perfect for you. Unfortunately I was looking for a Chilli oil. A lot of the reviews I read said there was no taste, that actually appealed to me. I just wanted to add a bit of chilli heat to my dishes. There is no taste of Chilli, the over powering taste is of Olive oil, then comes a bitter heat. I bought 3 bottles a Cayenne, a Habanero and a Naga and taste wise they are all the same, heat wise the Cayenne is the mildest then the Habanero and the Naga is the hottest if the 3. This isn't a bad product, it's just not what I was looking for and the powerful taste of olive oil compounded my disappointment.
