Body Sculpture BSW1700 Aero Strider Xtra

I chose this item because it`s similar to one I had 15 years ago. It`s simple to use, easy to move (despite it`s weight) and is impact free, which is essential for me as I suffer from arthritis in the hands and arms and it is now starting to affect my feet.Their was one problem which I didn`t pick up on at first: One of the pullys on the side had been done too tight and, consequently, when I first used it, it shredded the latex cord. I`ve replaced this with a bungy cord from my local DIY store as well as putting a thinner washer on the pully which allows freer movement.On another note; I live in Cyprus, where I had it delivered to. I ordered on the Saturday morning and took delivery on Tuesday afternoon. This is amazing - letters from the UK take anything from a week onwards to get here!PS. Is there any way Amazon can supply replacement latex cords as they will wear out in time?

I ordered this item on the 8th may, arrived the next day...no complaints there however after recieveing this and puttng it together I had to dismantle it and phone to arrange for it to be collected and returned as the elastic resistance band had melted as did the plastic roller leaving melted plastic on my carpet after only 15 MINUTES use.I am very disappointed as I ordered this specifically as it was low impact exercise and as I suffer with arthritis in my left hip it sounded perfect for keeping myself in shape without causing any further damage.Also no resistance so it is like sitting on a table and swinging your legs back and forth..that easy on highest settign my 5 year old did it too easily.I will stick to aerobics in future as also read reviews for the fan elipitical trainer as I was going to exchange for that but seems Body Sculpture are very cheap materials and not so cheerful quality.I would not recommend to anyone.

This is a great product and easy to use. If I had to make any adverse comments it would be to add the foot plates before they suggest as trying to do this when it's fully constructed is nigh impossible. Also the dials that increase/decrease tension could benefit from max/min markers. I loosened mine too far, the knob fell to bits and got a greasy mess on the carpet.I wouldn't let this put you off - just be warned. Very good value

This is a substantial machine. For the price, I'm really impressed. It's very strong and works very well. I decided to order this because a friend had a similar one, which was much more expensive. However, I think this one is much better and significantly cheaper than hers. It came in a very large (heavy) box which the courier kindly brought in for me. I did manage to put it together myself although looking back I think it would have been wise to have two people do it, not because it's difficult - it isn't - in fact I think it's a great piece of engineering. I've had some squeaks and rattles, as the previous reviewers reported but I think these can be managed with a bit of WD40 and they certainly don't detract from its efficiency. It's great - far better than I expected and I'm delighted with the quality and strength of the machine and with the very helpful digital readout. I wouldn't like to try to "fold" it, as some machines offer, to put it away regularly, but that's ok for me since it's in my garage so I don't need to pack it away. Excellent!

I used to have a Tony Little Gazelle Freestyle XL which , for me and all the other people that used it, was perfect. Had to leave it behind when i moved in to another country so i bought this as a cheap alternative. My rating might be unfair for people who want to buy it and never had an experience of this kind of equipment, so ill try to write some prons and cons based on the three days of use and assuming no previous experience.Prons: 1) quite heavy and stardy.2) Easy to assemble though it takes some time3) You feel the tense on the arm and leg muscles and sweating on the first 3-5 min...i guess that would apply to a beginner like me.4) Very good packaging and fast delivery.Cons: 1) the intense adjustment cups dont make any difference ...no matter how much i increase or decrease them..nothing changes, at least on my Aero.2) Yesterday (second day of use) started to squeak slightly on the one side...3) noticed the elastic cords have worn out slightly already...maybe its about time to use some oil. I dont know yet if they are replaceable or not.There are a lot of other cons but I think it would be only fair to admit them to someone who is cross between a Tony little and a Body Sculpture and who can give double the money .Ill stick with it and see what happens as i really need it and like this kind of exercise.

The strider gives a good workout - it feels fine at the time but you realise you have had a good workout when you have finished!The strider is quite stable and was not difficult to assemble. However, the hinges make a really dreadful noise (despite efforts to lubricate them) while the strider is in use. Also this raises the possibility that they will wear out prematurely in the future.

So far so good. No squeaks as in other reviews but it's early days. It's a pretty big piece of equipment and takes up a fair bit of space. I found it easy to build and it took me about 20mins. I'ts easy to use with little impact on joints. Helps me keep my Fitbit goals on track especially if the weather is really bad. I did feel a bit dizzy after being on it for 15mins so I'm hoping that disappears. All in all if it stands up to a fair amount of use it will be an excellent buy. I'm happy so far ☺

Complimenti al Sito amazon...spedizione veloce e gestione della clientela impeccabile..per quanto riguarda il prodotto nonostante sia divertente e funzionale mostra un difetto di usura delle boccole che sostengono tutto il peso dell utilizzatore...tutta la struttura é in robusto metallo mentre le boccole sono in plastica rigida soggette ad un usura innaturale e repentina..peccato...la ditta produttrice non risponde.

il est impeccable il faut juste savoir le monter a l'endroit surtout sur pour les bras , muscles des bras et jambes en meme temps si tu est cape fait le 1heure et apres tu iras te coucher je conseille cette article

Si è rotto dopo 1 settimana. I supporti che dovrebbero reggere il peso sono di Materiali scadenti. Ho investito male i miei soldi.

Après deux semaines d utilisation , il s est cassé... Je suis déçue , il est trop imposant pour le revoyer par la poste

pas mal, pas facile à utiliser la 1er fois voir la deuxieme apres on commence à etre plus à l'aise , pas de chocs pr les genoux par contre c quand même assez fatigant , j'en fait par tranche de 20 mn , dommage que l'elastique a l'air de s'elimer assez vite , pas de programmes d'entrainement non plus contrairement à d'autres marques , en bref necessite une bonne coordination des mouvements , un bon gainage et de bonnes jambes
