Found these really handy as kept losing the discs and these screw top lids are much easier for shaking up formula and taking bottles in the go without any leaks. Fit wide neck dr browns bottles.

Was odd and disappointing that they don’t come as standard with the dr brown bottles. Makes it easier for storing and making up bottles. The bottles come with a disc for making up formula but easier with the lids.

Can be cleaned in the sterilizer too

These are great for making up formula in Options+ wide neck bottles. Put one of these lids on and give the formula a good shake before removing the lid and putting the vent and teat on. Stops the vent and teat getting clogged with unmixed formula, and there are no messy leaks when shaking the bottle.

If you are preparing formula and using Dr Brown's bottles, then these travel caps are essential. The design of Dr Brown's bottles means that if they are shaken vigorously, they will leak. The only alternative would be to prepare the formula in another container and to then pour it into a Dr. Brown's bottle. This obviously results in more bottles being used and therefore more sterilising. I recommend getting a couple of packs of these travel caps so that you always have plenty to hand.The caps are also useful as travel caps. When transported, milk in the Dr Brown's bottles, can spill into the teat. Milk can then collect in the lid and mean that when the lid is removed milk spills. If you store the parts separately and use a travel cap, then your milk shouldn't leak.Like other reviewers, I believe that the caps should be supplied with the bottles.

We use these as a cover for dr brown bottles for when we are using our prep machine, it makes it easier to shake quickly without having to put together the whole bottle and then take it apart again to put cold water in. They have a good deal most the time but occasionally when I have shook it milk has come out- probably down to me not ensuring the seal is on properly- but when you have a crying baby it’s the last thing you check. I sometimes find it quite difficult to get lid off of on too tight too.

I’m happy with these lids. They fit dr browns bottles and I use them to shake the bottles when making up feed. The only little thing is you have to clean it really well as milk gets into the side grove and it’s difficult to get out especially if not cleaned straight away (when your baby is screaming for milk it’s the last thing you think of!) other than that I’m really happy. I keep one in home and the other in my change bag for when I’m making bottles when out.
