It was just a plastic bag around the compressor inserted into cartoon box. No polystyrene inserts to keep it safe. As a result of it my was delivered damaged. The plastic coverings at the bottom have broken in pieces, but the unit is still working. So I requested them to send a new one and take this one. They sent a refund instead with no request for returning the item. So I'm gonna glue it all together and enjoy the cheapest compressor ever. LOL Other than that, it came with AC adapter (compressor has the EU plug), really nice adapter indeed. It can do up to 10 bar and it's filled up quite quickly. And yes, it's noisy. But I have yet to encounter a not noisy compressor. The air in is just enough to fill one empty car tyre (from 1.5 bar to 2.5 bar on tyre - compressor was only filled up to 8 bar). Don't forget to buy some hose and basic tools. They won't come with the compressor. I bought "Stanley Tools for Air Compressor, Airtoo lkit (Pack of 6) 9045717STN" and that's just what I needed. This 6 piece kit contains blow gun, tyre inflator, hose and 3 adapters.
