Safari: A Photicular Book

This book went down a treat . It’s really unique and the 5-8 ye old s were fascinated and delighted with it . Great book . Highly recommend

These are really cool! I have just bought four, after having seen them in a bookshop today. Look on the video about them on youtube- if i hadn't seen them in the shop, I would have thought the video was exaggerated, but they really are like little movies on each page. The Gallop moving horse book is a distant cousin in terms of technology, but this is 100 times more advanced and it had me fascinated!I have bought the book for a Wide age group - my daughter is 2, god daughter, 4, nephew 9 and I'm sure that it will go down well with all of them. I'm betting on this being a xmas best seller and a future classic.

With the wonders of modern technology these days being i this or i that, it was nice to be able to purchase a "proper book" for my son`s 6th birthday as he is very interested with the safari and it`s vast array of animals (it is even being taught at school at present), this book is truly amazing, when you move the pages the pictures of the animals "animate & come to life" there is also vast knowledge added to the pages, I would recommend this book to anyone whether they be young or old.Item arrived well packaged and promptly, this was bought with the "Ocean" book also.If you found my review helpful please click the 'I found this helpful link below' Thank you Very Much!

Beautiful book, and though some pages are of thinnish paper, and so, perhaps easily torn by a two-year old; my grandson loves it and hey - there's always Sellotape for running repairs. Thoroughly recommend as a special gift. Magically moving pictures and interesting, informative text for a parent to read.

This was a gift for an animal-mad grandson. Well accepted, interesting book, well admired by the relatives at Xmas who were surprised to see the animals moving. In the front it gives the background to the safaris, photos and presentation of the book. Beautiful book, but rated 4 star to be aware the thickness of the book is due to the format of presenting the photographs, not because there are lots of photos in there. (I cannot remember how many with being a gift). Overall a really lovely book, to be handled carefully and enjoyed, so not for very young children whose handling might not be so gentle.

This book is fantastic and will even have the adults gasping with amazement. Nothing else like it out there. Some of the animal movements are a little better than others but on the whole it's awesome and kids will find it very inspiring. Not just moving images but info about each animal too. I've bought loads of these as gifts and they're always a winner.

I ordered this book as a gift for my sister in law with whom we had shared a safari holiday in Africa. As I was so taken with it I ordered a second copy, enabling me to keep one myself. The photicular pictures are amazing and the write up a description that took me right back to that wonderful experience. A good value book that will give pleasure to many for a long time. Children and adults are fascinated by the 'moving' animals. A real five star treat.
