FINTIE Case for Samsung Galaxy Tab S3 9.7-Inch Tablet (SM-T820/T825) - Ultra Lightweight Standing Cover with S Pen Protective Holder Auto Sleep/Wake, Galaxy

I first bought this case for my son's tablet in spring 2018 and was quite happy with it - very durable, survived several falls without impact to the tablet. I decided to renew it and bought another one in December 2020. In less than a month of normal use (no falls or any other impact) one of the corners literally crumbled into plastic dust. I suppose something has changed in the manufacturing process and/or materials and the current version is way worse than the original one. Which is a pity because the first one I bought was great.

These covers are great! I have had a tablet for 5 years now and it still has the same cover. Some of the plastic holders have broken but after 5 years that is to be expected when it is used every single day. I bought this one for the new tablet and it is brilliant just like my older one. I have bought these as gifts as well and people love them.

This is the second case I have bought for my Tab S3, the first one was a faux leather case also from Fintie. I decided to change because the other case ruined the look of the Tab S3. This case came two days before the delivery window was due.It fits really well, is thin and shows enough of the tablets front etc and the lid closes well. The slot for the S pen is snug and it hasn't fallen out at all in the couple of days I have had the case.

This was a great cover for well over a year, then the plastic became brittle and parts of it began to snap off. Which is a real shame seeing as this is the nicest looking cover I've found for the S3.The magnetic and sleep aspects work really well, and I never had a problem with the stylus falling out. That said, I never really take my tablet anywhere, I bought the cover to protect it in the house. This made it a bit of a surprise when the plastic began to fail.

I like the design and protects the screen from being scratched, but the material started to looked used after 6 months. The holding function is not that good either. Sometimes opens up in the bag and that my reduce the protective effect.
