Simple, beautiful grinder
I am new to coffee and was looking to up my game by going from a blade grinder to a burr grinder. This Misetto grinder is at a great price point, so I gave it a try.I didn't realize it, but it comes in a very nice little travel case. The grinder is solid - perfectly sized for the hand with knurls and texture to get a good grip. The handle fits perfectly on the spindle - I mean perfectly. Slides on easily with no slop. Likewise the grounds cup at the bottom screws on and off securely and easily - this was machined to very precise tolerances. When grinding, everything is smooth and nearly effortless. My one complaint is that the manual isn't as clear as it could be for how to set the grind size. There are numbers on the dial - but I think those are kind of meaningless. The dial pointer is just a wingnut - the looser it is (turning it counter-clockwise), the coarser the grind. You can spin it entirely off. Likewise, the more you turn it clockwise, the smaller the grain. Eventually, you will make it as tight as it can go. The main thing is - it will spin around several times - so you don't know just by the number it is pointing at how coarse or fine the grind will be. You just have to experiment.Anyway, this is an excellent grinder - very well made, performs very well, and is a fantastic value.

This little machine has become my new favorite coffee grinder.
IT IS NO LONGER AVAILABLE (WHY?)I WANTED TO PURCHASE ONE MORE (FOR MY OFFICE USE).BROKE MY HEART (ON VALENTINE’S DAY!)Very easy to assemble, use, and clean.Wide range of grind settings and the burr sit solidly, consistently uniform grind at every setting.Considerably quieter compared to the Baratza electric grinder. I have been very happy with switching to Misetto grinder, I am sure it is designed to provide years of service.5 start all the way!Misetto Grinder is the ONE for me!

Good Budget Manual Coffee Grinder for the Newbie
After having watched a few of James Hoffmann's videos, the importance of grinding your coffee beans at home (and not purchasing the pre-ground stuff) really stuck with me. In his review of budget manual grinders, made several years ago (and before this product hit the market), his issues with them were the lack of metal materials, especially for the grinding burrs, and a central shaft that wasn't properly supported and would wobble. Well after owning this grinder for a week, I'm happy to report that it works great and doesn't have any of those issues James encountered with the other budget options out there. This coffee grinder is full metal construction, including the burrs, and has a fully supported metal central shaft. My only complaint is that the user manual is not well written. Although the grind selecting knob has numbers on it, they're basically useless as the knob can make several full revolutions stop to stop. I went through two to three cups worth of coffee to find the selection that works best for my brewer, but I'm sure that's not too uncommon. Anyways, happy coffee drinking!

Great manual grinder!
This grinder looks great and feels like it's built well. My only issue is when adjusting the grinder setting to a lower number, the knob wouldn't really turn so I'm limited in ground size. I love the travel case it comes with. Makes it super easy to take on the go.

High-quality grinder
I've been using it every day for a year. Well-made, high-quality construction. Excellent grinding mechanism. I got this after suffering with a cheap grinder for several months. What a huge difference! This will grind the same amount of beans with 3x fewer cranks. High-quality grinding mechanism too. Smooth to operate, and the grind size selection works great and it stays where you set it.It holds about 28g of coffee beans. (I use 30g for 2 cups, so I do wish it was just a tiny bit bigger.)In all, very nice quality. My co-worker has a $200 "Option-O REMI” hand grinder which I also use every day, and honestly this grinder compares very favorably to that one, to the point that I can’t tell the difference. Two thumbs up.

THIS IS THE ONE SO STOP LOOKING
I must have read a dozen reviews before deciding on this little coffee grinder. MISETTO did not disappoint. It is a solid, well designed and constructed, all metal machine with NO plastic to break. It grinds coarse to superfine with easy, well defined detents for adjustment at the bottom. And is super convenient to clean by using a hair dryer (no heat) to blow loose grounds out of the grinding mechanism. AND ALL THIS AT HALF THE PRICE OF THE COMPETITION.

Overall Excellent Quality
I brew with a french press and an espresso machine. Overall I'm very impressed. It is a bit heavier than expected but it is very high build quality. I do like that the grind adjuster is numbered. The grind is very uniform. The case is a great inclusion. This grinder should last a lifetime. Will update if I run into any issues.- Just a note, people have commented that the instructions are very concise. This is true, but all the necessary material is listed on the amazon page. Just take a picture of the listed grind recommendations.

Good quality all metal manual coffee grinder!
I was looking for an all-metal manual coffee grinder. There are many in amazon with a over ten thousand reviews with a lot of good ones.I always considered good reviews and most of time, after the purchase, I had a wrong one. This time I bought a coffee grinder with very few reviews (and free return). It turned out to be a very good one actually. It has a pretty carrying case and a small coffee mug too.
