This item is advertised as just over 1m long but is nothing like that. (Don't purchase expecting anything more than as advertised - I may have had an extra long one by mistake). But one single line of this stuff carried the full weight of about 300 baubels from the beginning of December for an entire month. We live in a three storey house and if you walk to the stairs on the ground floor and look up, you can see all the way to the top. So we had an idea to tie a large knot on the end of this and place Christmas baubles on it which landed about three or four together and went all the way up through the house. Christmas baubles are obviously very light and weigh almost nothing if you pick just one up but a few hundred weighs a ton. It took three men to pick it up and tie it from top to bottom of the house and on top of that, it was wrapped with pretty heavy batteried lights. So the weight was a lot on this one single line of wire. We expected it to snap and fall down but it stayed up for an entire month which just shows the strength of it and the quality of it. Very diverse product.

I was very pleased with this wire. I used it to make some wreaths to go onto family graves this Christmas and found the wire strong enough to bind tough greenery yet fine enough not to be obvious and the colour is good for this too. In response to other reviews about this product there was no rust on the reels I was sent, and there was a tiny bit of black, almost nothing, transferred onto my fingers from the wire during the work but it soon washes off. I bought two reels and one was more than enough for all five wreaths I made, using it to wind around the rattan bases I used from Hobbycraft to bind the various kinds of greenery from my garden. I will definitely do this again next year as the wreaths look so nice, and would have no hesitation in buying this binding wire again.

As expected, perfect for wreath making. Proved strong and durable.
