Perfect
I bought a piano from a colleague which came with a really unsteady metallic stand so I decided to try and find something that would look a bit more professional. I bought this and was thoroughly impressed with the quality of the of the product. Haven't had any issues with stability and still looks very stylish. I think it was easy to put together and also easy take apart during a recent move.

Worth the money!
I debated getting this for a long time because of the cost, but I have to say I don't regret buying this stand at all.It looks great and elevated the overall look so much compared to the folding stand I was using before. It's super study (it comes with additional attachments you can add to the bottom to make it even more study, which I put on straight away), and the build quality feels really good. I have to say it's made playing much easier as well, as the height is perfect (I found the folding stands only had height options which were too low or too high) and it's a lot easier to play without things rocking around everywhere!

Turns a great keyboard into a piece of attractive furniture
Bought a P45 keyboard for our daughter for Christmas. Keyboard excellent but the non branded X frame that came with it (package deal) was far too unstable, such that I was concerned that keyboard would actually fall off. A quick bit of research led me to this L85 stand, purpose built for the P45 (plus other Yamaha models). In short, it’s excellent. Yes it is chipboard, and yes it is £85, but it’s well engineered, easy to put together, sturdy, fits the keyboard perfectly, and looks great. Height is not adjustable but is the correct height for a traditional piano. Really happy with the investment, and my daughter loves it too.

For once, better than some reviews say!
I was a bit worried after I read a review on Amazon saying this was just some cheap chipboard and thought I might make one myself. Time is precious though so I just ordered figuring I'd return it if it was crappy quality. So, yeah, it is made primarily of chipboard, but decent quality stuff, just as you'd find in any good quality kitchen cabinet. The fixings are extremely solid and have proper threaded inserts, not just depending on screwing directly in to the wood. Assembles in a couple of minutes with just a screwdriver.Yeah, the top veneer layer is a bit plasticky, but does seem to be hard wearing stuff. Time will tell if it lives up to the abuse of sitting still... after all, this is a £100 stand for an electric piano. If you want a hardwood veneered piece of furniture, you should probably buy an actual piano. If you want a quality stand for your Yamaha piano, buy this

Good looking and solid but should be priced around £85 for better value.
Well packaged, simple to assemble and makes my P45 keyboard (recently purchased) look and feel like a piano. It is a little over priced in my view.Explanation: I mistakenly bought (and returned) the wrong model which was only matched to one out of the many Yamaha keyboards available - that stand was cheaper. But this one which is 'generic' and fits a greater range is actually more expensive. That feels as if, yet again, customers are taken for granted and fools. Come on Yamaha, you're big enough to have a more ethical pricing policy on these items.Otherwise, happy with product. No, really, I am.

Smart, sturdy, easy to assemble
Wish I'd bought this earlier. Great replacement for the "adjustable" support that I bought with the keyboard, which was never quite the right height, and didn't quite fit the keyboard. It now looks much more like a proper instrument as well as a proper piece of furniture, and is oddly less intrusive in the room, as well as easier to play. Definitely recommend.

A Good Piano Stand but Pricey
Good looking, reasonably sturdy stand for my Yamaha P-45. While it does seem pricey it really does look good when fitted to the Piano Keyboard. It's easy to assemble, it only took me a few minutes to put it together on my own. It has the correct sized screws and fittings to hold your Yamaha securely in place. My only complaint is the price really, for £102.95 I would expect something with a bit more substance. It's not flimsy. It's pretty solid. It doesn't wobble while playing or anything like that, it's just that I would have been happier if it was a bit more solid or a bit cheaper. A fair price would be around the £60.00 mark.
