This product has taken away my fear of drinking acidic/staining liquids that could be damaging to my teeth. Now my only fear is being alone with my existential dread; I did email the seller to ask if they sold straws for that too but no luck. It is obviously impossible to keep all liquid that is entering your mouth from contacting your teeth, but I feel that using these straws is a vast improvement over sipping for this purpose.- They are thicker than plastic straws, which makes them different to use, but does not hinder their function.- They are completely taste neutral.- They arrived promptly and intact, in sturdy cardboard packaging.- The ends are very nicely rounded and safe with flesh. There are no sharp edges at all.- Overall they seem sturdy, I am not afraid of breaking them with normal use.- The cleaning brush seems functional, though I'm a little apprehensive about the metal scratching the glass with repeated use. I don't see any scratches so far though.- They stand fine in a mug. I had thought that they might topple out, but they don't.All in all, these straws do exactly what I had expected of them and I am happy with my purchase. I expect them to last for a long time to come.

I really wasnt sure whether I would like these but I want to stop using plastic for the sake of the planet, whales etc so thought I would give them a try. We love them - they are sturdy but not uncomfortable to use. Doddle to clean wit the little brush and am just very pleased with them. No down side at all and I feel much better that we are doing our bit for the oceans. By the way anybody reading this please do go to the Greenpeace site and sign the petition to ask the supermarkets to d more about reducing one-use plastic. And buy the glass straws to help.I know straws are small but there are millions of them used every day all over the world. It s a little thing I know but I have seen the video on facebook wher people have to help a turtle who has a plastic straw lodged right up its nose. So sad and think of the thousands who werent lucky enough to be saved.

I'm delighted with the glass straws. The reason I got the straws is for my son and daughter as they like to have a straw with their drinks. I don't bother with straws myself but I really loved using these glass straws. These are aesthically pleasing to look at and use. All three of us love the bend in the straw. I also love the packaging it came in is all cardboard as I'm trying to aim for zero waste and not have any plastic with the things I get if I should need anything. I wouldn't think straws is something I need but are handy for when someone is not well and can barely move then straws are great for getting the water in to stay hydrated. When the glass straws arrived through the letter box, I heard a smash. I opened the parcel and they were perfect - no chips or cracks, I was amazed. I do have a softish mat inside my front door though. I think it's fantastic you are a small family run business, and love our glass straws very much. Ann Barron

Got these as using straws encourages my kids to drink smoothies that contain veggies, but I was concerned about all the environmental implications of plastic . Really happy with these so far. Sturdy , as other reviews have said. Enclosed brush makes them easy to clean. Slightly wider than disposable straws so brilliant for smoothies. Kids prefer them to plastic ones . Glad I got the bent ones (brush flexes fine through the bend), and chose these over the ones with coloured tips so no fighting over colours!. Tiny downside is I need to get used to not clinking them on my teeth- well worth it for improved drinking flow for smoothies, and ofc for sake of planet!

I wish I’d seen these glass straws years ago! These ones are strong, easy to clean (to be honest I just run them under the tap as soon as a drink is finished) and look really contemporary. I dread to think how many plastic straws are in landfill. My daughter has a brace and uses a straw for most drinks and the glass straw I’m reviewing is excellent. I highly recommend glass straws way above any other type of straw and these ones are brilliant. They also arrived within a couple of days of ordering, and that was over Christmas as well.

Bought these in the vain attempt they would help in keeping my teeth white. The glass is thick and not as brittle as I imagined they would be. You get a glass cleaner with them. I thought they would require cleaning after each drink (Thus becoming quite a chore) but no, they remain pretty clean for a while then I throw them in the dishwasher and use new ones. Highly recommended. They are good for hot drinks as they somewhat cool the drink as you use them, I assume they would be good for people with sensitive teeth also.

it is good, only little too big (thick) however, it maybe safer this way.I used for my child's old drink in a big glass mug, the lid alwayd have hole but the hole is not biger enough for this straws, so they use without lid. Overally I am happy with it, stop buying plastic straw which is really good.

Brilliant for hot or cold drinks. I’m using them with hot to stop my teeth getting discoloured from coffee and tea. Cannot fault them at all and teeth are getting whiter 😁. They feel really comfortably sturdy, not likely to break or chip any day soon. Better for the environment and more hygienic than plastic or metal. I love that I can see if they are clean, unlike steel ones, and you get a little cleaning brush.
