What can I say???....a lot actually...and its all good
I had been thinking of getting a decent pull up tower for a while so have had seen quite a few. Most were very expensive, some were really big and some were so bad it looked like they used tin foil to build it. Even though there were so many bad ones there were some good pull stations at a good price. In the end I went for this one because it looked pretty solid, the pull up bar was facing forward (as the back was facing a wall it would of been a pain if it was back facing), it had a decent dip bar/knee raise support with plenty of padding, sit up support (which I never use though others might), adjustable press up bars, had good reviews and was at a very good price. So I decided to buy it.It arrived pretty quickly, in a big box (unmarked i.e.dents or scratches). I have to say the box was pretty heavy and it may need two people to lunge it through the house if your not that strong.Anyway I got it all out and was impressed but the quality of the pieces in the box. However the instructions could be a tad better. On the pictures it shows washers on one side only but infact you have washers on both sides of the bolts. All the parts and bits were there. Putting it together was pretty straight forward. I done it by myself but others may need another person as when trying to put on the knee raise back pad and dip bar arms can be a bit of a juggle and quite amusing.Once it was in all put together it looked great and couldn't believe how much I got it for compared to lower quality ones you could end up getting. It didn't move or wobble, takes my weight easily (12 stone). The padding it nice and thick of decent quality. It wasn't that big either, I had emailed the company to get the measurements which the quickly got back to me with and had thought it would be bigger but it wasn't. Weirdly because of the way it had been photographed it looks like the pull up bar at the top is a straight bar all the way but infact they are bent at an angle at the ends (Which is want I wanted and better for your wrists). When pulling up the back rest can get in the way a bit but that actually helps you improve your form and straighten up. If it really bothers you and you don't do knee ups you could remove the back pad from the cross bar if you wanted. Also I noticed someone said that the handle slipped off and he replaced them with bike handles. Instead you could wrap a decent tape around the metal so the original handle sits tight. Its up to you. So great price, good delivery, great service and great product. By the way I had this 5 months, still using it and its still solid. 5 stars

Good quality but you need additional "investment"
Product is sturdy, well build, overall good quality. It can support me without any problems (I'm 100kg/220lbs). Bits used for chest dips are solid pieces of metal welded together so no worries there. The back supporting pad is quite close when doing pull ups and you may find yourself pressing your belly against it during workout, but that's not an item fault, it is your bad form, so that's good way to tell whether you're doing it right (and whether you build up strenght). Station is also not too high so I can easily do pull ups without worries of banging my head against the ceiling (for full benefit you only need to get eye-bar level so again, no problem there). There only problems are caused by handles grips and plastic caps on base pieces. There are made of some very cheap chinese rubber and smell like a tank of petrol. As long as you plan to keep the tower in garage and workout in gloves it should be bearable, but if you want to keep it in your room as I do that is really annoying, and makes it even hard to breathe.Still 4 stars? Yes, solution to this problem is simple, yet you need to spend some extra money. You can replace the base's caps with silver tape :D and any bicycle handles grips fit on these handles. So if you don't mind buying 4 sets of bike handles grips, that product is an excellent buy.Seller dispatched the item very quickly and it arrived before the estimated delivery date.

Sturdy but very unfortunate design angles
The unit was well packaged and not too difficult to assemble (it took me less than an hour, working on my own). When complete, it is sturdy and solid: I am well over 15 stone and have total confidence in it when exercising. The main problem with it is that the angle of the overhead bar is very poor for chin-ups. If you face towards the unit, you bump into the vkr cushion and it would be impossible to use with a dipping belt or weight vest (which makes it pretty useless for me). If you face away from the unit to do your chin-ups, it works slightly better, but a belt sometimes gets caught on the cushion, your ankles can catch some of the protrusions near the bottom (leading to lots of cuts and scrapes) and it generally feels awkward and unnatural as an exercise. In general, it is poor for either chin-ups or pull-ups (pull-ups are almost impossible due to various angles etc.).When shopping for a power tower, I was looking for something that allowed me to do chin-ups, but I was especially interested in being able to dip. This power tower is fine for me for dips. I have no real problems with it, although I could see that you might prefer to be able to adjust the grips etc. if you were of a different build. You can do vkrs and other ab exercises on the unit and it works ok.For me, the various protrusions at the bottom of the tower are not only useless but a downright annoyance. I would never use these sit-up cushions or do press-ups etc. on the handles of a power tower. It would be much better to leave the ground area clutter-free.Would I recommend it? That depends what you want to use it for. If you are medium height and build, you can do dips on it no problem. If you want to do knee or leg raises, it does the job fine. If you're looking for something to do chin-ups on, I would suggest you might keep looking.
