Better than I expected
Having bought one of the early Dysons which was very heavy, cumbersome and nowhere near as effective as it was cracked up to be, I was reluctant to buy this but I needed an instantly available vacuum to avoid carrying the “proper” vacuum around and 2 members of the family urged me to get it. It’s brilliant. Yes, it’s a bit bulky and I would avoid the heavier ones but you don’t need the maximum power in most circumstances, so 18 minutesof battery time is fine. And it works for the worst job of all - cleaning the car.

Really sucks, in a good way!
Good used Dyson hand held vacuum cleaner, the seller really made the effort to clean the vacuum up. They fitted a removable battery, which was nice, as the original was a fixed battery that’s secured by screws. The filter was brand new and the vacuum sucks, but in a really good way! It has a turbo / normal button for those times that you need more power. It can be operated left or right handed equally as well which I really need. The filter is really easy to take out and clean. It seems to need cleaning a bit less than my old Dyson did. Overall very impressed with the vacuum cleaner and the seller.

Not the best machine ever by dyson prefer a dc07 over this!
Cleans very well if you buy this machine and the extension wand and floor head separately does not last long with battery life I have owned my machine since 2017 and filters are not very efficient as you have to clean regular would advise a bagged machine like Henry or a older Dyson upright like a dc07.

Recommended handheld vacuum cleaner.
Superb powerful hand held vacuum. I use it mainly for cleaning the car mats, carpets and boot - does this very well. Could do with more attachments but these are available from aftermarket suppliers at a reasonable price so factor that into your purchase price. Not a huge battery life but perfectly adequate for giving two cars a good clean.

Old Dyson tools do not fit this model
Be aware if you buy this model, as I did, thinking your (expensive) extension rod from previous models will fit - it won’t. You’ll be stuck spending an extra £55.

Great but pricey ... really good vacuum ... wouldn't be without it
I had a Black and Decker hand vac and it was weak and the battery ran out quickly. This is great ... but pricey

Replacement for eight year old DC16 - not as good
Bought a DC16 in 2008 which cost £88 from Amazon and decided to replace due to it cutting out all the time . The DC 16 was a cracking hand vac and was even reviewed by Jeremy Clarkson at the time as brilliant for cleaning the car . Just tried the V6 after charging for 3 hours and it didn't impress - the suction is nowhere near as good . That's progress and cost £100 pounds more including inflation.
