This was my first step into laser engraving and although I upgraded to a larger engraver I will still always recommend a laser engraver like this one to anyone who is unsure of the hobby. The fan on the top is not meant to extract fumes, smoke etc, it is there to help cool the laser, so do keep it in a well ventilated area.On mine within two weeks of getting it I had created a keyring, custom panels for miniatures and personalized my phonecase.Small laser engraving area is one of the downsides however that does allow it to be portable. being able to control it from my phone is an interesting concept however I always controlled it from the computer.

Your browser does not support HTML5 video.  The settings do need some getting used to but that doesnt matter much.Its very fast and very well built. The built in battery ensure you always have enough power. The app mames life so much easier.I genuinely think this is famtastic.My alturnative use case for this has been cutting a thin peice of wood to shape.Go over the same place a couple times and you get a clean cut. Came in handy.Its very easy to set up. Simply poweron and comnect.Or power on and plug it in.Not much mkre to it. Minclused software helps make ur designs. And the app lets u turn any image in to a laster printed image.10/10.Excellent

Oh where to begin.....This little beauty produces some great etching. You can control the depth of the burn, but it just takes you a little longer.So far I have used this on paper and wood. I am really impressed with the detail.I had tried to use the software on both a Mac and PC. Although you get more choices I found it struggles to give me the correct outcome.The iPhone app worked well. Not as many options but it worked, so that’s my software of choice.As far as instructions go, all I can say is they tried. It’s a shame there is a steep learning curve, as this lead to plenty of failed attempts. I have been burning on wood, but occasionally it just stopped, or part of the image was displaced.So small note to everyone, make sure you have plenty of spare items just in case you too have fails. Look out for low battery too. I will be using it as much as possible. Just waiting for some plastic disks so I can have a go with them.

Despite some negative reviews, the software for windows 10 downloaded smoothly and installed without problem. Software worked well. JPG images just drag and dropped worked well. laser focussed easily for different thicknesses. Slight experiment required to get correct amount of burn, achieved by lengthening the time the laser is on (controlled by simple slider bar in software. Well built and reasonable price.

Great item, good for the price!Worked Fine after pc installation and had no problems at all with first prints.

Does pretty well once you get a good software but it does take practice for different materials working out burn time and speed getting it just right not to fast so it’s faded and not to slow so it burns. It is detailed in wood, was a little more difficult on leather but may have had it set wrong- so more practice. Also it is good that it’s portable and has a phone app. The side lines on the attached image was a mistake on our behalf but impressed with the quality of small detailed areas.

Easy to use worked first time for me using the android app, the app is a bit slow to load and does have some trouble uploading your own pics, haven't used the window program but hoping that will be better in turms of customised.The unit is small and compact

Engraved within a 5cmx5cm box. I’ve done paper, wood and plastic and all works well. The app is great with it and I screenshot designs from pages to engrave. Battery last a solid 3 hours of use (maybe more) and overall very happy.The pc software is a little rubbish but there are loads of places to download better stuff for free. I’m a Mac user so struggled a bit.The bands were broken on arrival but a bit of sticky tape works better as I was burning pieces larger than the plate anyway.Nice little gadget and quick to set up.
