Review: Look good - I got this set of Stanley chisels recently, and even though I haven't used them yet, they seem really solid. Straight out of the box, they feel well-made and sturdy. The handles fit nicely in the hand and seem like they'll be comfortable for long jobs. The blades are sharp and made from tough-looking steel, so I’m expecting them to hold up well over time. They even come with blade guards, which is a nice touch to keep them safe when not in use. Overall, they look like a high-quality set that should last. Looking forward to putting them to the test!

## Questions & Answers

**Q: Are these sharp enough to square up some channelling?**
A: When they are new, yes. I use them for squaring old wall socket rebates. However they may need to be periodically reground of course.

**Q: Will these split thin steel?**
A: Possible , however they are for use on plaster, brick , mortar , concrete. If thin steel needs cutting then use tin snips.

**Q: Would these be good for splitting slate?**
A: No!  where i have seen slate split they have used 4 inch bolsters.  These bolsters are thinner than standard bolsters being only about 2mm thick but 100mm wide.  The yellow chisels will split slate in all directions, OK for cutting a slot up a block wall but not slate.  My opinion

**Q: Would this be an appropriate tool for cutting difficult edges of sticky back plastic?  Stanley knife drags it.**
A: I would say no, a good sharp large kitchen knife is better I found.

I got this set of Stanley chisels recently, and even though I haven't used them yet, they seem really solid. Straight out of the box, they feel well-made and sturdy. The handles fit nicely in the hand and seem like they'll be comfortable for long jobs. The blades are sharp and made from tough-looking steel, so I’m expecting them to hold up well over time. They even come with blade guards, which is a nice touch to keep them safe when not in use. Overall, they look like a high-quality set that should last. Looking forward to putting them to the test!

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Not quite what I wanted

I’m sure they are fine but they were quite small. Very sharp and I’m sure would be good for fine work. I ended up using by neighbors SD impact drill which you can also get on Amazon for about 60 quid. Which was really great. In fareness I was taking down the relented of a wall and wanted to chip away the last few bricks in the drive way. Nice tools though and delivered on time at a good price
