Pleased With the Price and Performance of the Product!
The media could not be loaded. ย I bought this capture card for casually streaming Nintendo Switch gameplay on Discord to my wife and with some tweaking and an HDMI splitter, is perfect for my purposes! This is a great product especially for anyone who just wants to casually share gameplay with friends over Discord or even for entry level streamers who are curious about dipping their toes into streaming gameplay and don't want to risk spending hundreds on a high end card. For the rest of the review I'll go more in depth over my experience setting up the card with OBS and other things I noticed.โข Set-Up:-I used OBS studio to stream gameplay, and if you get the capture card on its own, you can only view the gameplay through the preview in OBS, which can have a varying delay depending on the resolution you choose.-To avoid this and have gameplay on two screens (OBS and a separate monitor for example) so that you can look at real time footage from your console without any delay, you would need to buy a separate HDMI splitter that supports 1 In 2 Out Mirroring/Duplicating (1 video source onto 2 displays) which can be found relatively cheap.-Getting this card along with a splitter, configuring OBS's settings, and additional HDMI cables can make for a very convenient and pleasurable streaming experience (This product does NOT come with its own HDMI cables).-If you choose to use the card standalone, the footage quality is still satisfactory but you may experience delays with inputs if you play off the capture card footage alone.-Make sure to not have any speakers or other devices connected to your Switch while capturing footage otherwise the audio might not be picked up. I'm not sure about other consoles but keep it in mind.โข Other Notes:-The footage from the capture card does have a slight tint which looks a little more saturated and contrasted than the original game footage, but this can be fixed by applying a filter on OBS to adjust the colors, along with downloading and applying a LUT filter into OBS (I downloaded one from a YouTube video reviewing budget capture cards, but its possible to find one online from another source).-The card does get a bit warm, in my case it's not too concerning but it's something you might want to consider.-The capture card supports 1920x1800 resolution at 30FPS, lowering the resolution it to 1280x720 makes the framerate smoother and still looks fine in my opinion.-Audio seems to be in mono.-I attempted to stream on Twitch and managed to keep a smooth framerate at 1280x720 even with my somewhat lacking PC and decent internet connection. Strongly recommend those interested in higher resolution streaming to have a capable internet speed.-In my case, audio does work and comes through my speakers using the recommended Output Desktop Audio option, but there is a delay.-Changing the audio settings to capture audio directly from the card stops it from coming out my speakers yet the audio is still present in OBS recordings and during streams, without any lag. I just can't hear it in real time.-It is possible to have the audio coming through the speakers and the stream at the same time by using a program like Voicemeeter which controls multiple sound inputs and outputs. The gameplay I included was recorded in OBS using the capture card. My video is capped at 30 FPS but the capture card does record 1280x720 in 60FPS. I showcase the original footage alongside footage with my OBS filters for each resolution (again, you can find a free LUT online for capture cards if you want to achieve similar results).Overall I'm very pleased with the performance and quality of the capture card, especially for the price, and I would strongly recommend a good set up in order to get the most out of it. Again this is great for casually streaming to friends on discord or for first timers curious about streaming without wanting to take a budget risk. Great product!

Affordable option for 1080p live streaming
This capture card worked perfectly for what I needed it for - to convert an old GoPro camera into a webcam that I could use with my desktop. Please note that although this has "4K" in the product description, it is only referring to the output. The input is capped at 1080p, which was fine for me because I only intend to use it for web meetings. I also did not feel it was worth spending $100+ for a 4K capture card. This capture card is easy to use and no software installation was necessary to use it. Microsoft Teams and other apps recognized the camera right away.

How to Stop The Flickering In OBS Studio (Tutorial)
The media could not be loaded. ย Before You Buy: It can't do 1080p directly from obs studio. Tbh, I wasn't expecting to it do it anyway because it 14.99 capture card. There also will be a slight delay for sound and input, so I suggest you look at whatever console you're playing on a different screen.1. Setting it to 720 x 480 for the resolution, putting on it 30 fps, and leaving everything else on default worked for me. (I record in 1920 x 1080 btw, so it might not be the same for you.)2. If you want it to be 1920 x 1080 or 1280 x 720, you gonna have to stretch it. It gonna look a lil bit blurry, but you can help it by applying filters onto it, and changing the scale filtering.

Pretty Easy and Simple Install
Purchased device after doing research on YouTube on how to stream my Nintendo Switch to my Tablet, I have moved into a smaller space and unable to use my TV so this little thing was a life saver. I downloaded the app to my Samsung tablet โ nExt Camera - USBโ got my switch plugged in and docked, plugged into my tablet and screen showed up immediately! I had my doubts but was overall happy it worked.

Pretty good product
Honestly, for a long time now, I've always wanted a capture card to record some good sessions or clips of some of my more proudest "gamer moments." The video quality is great, pretty crystal from my amateur eye for graphics, and the audio manages to be a 2:1 when compared to my TV. Other than that, it was worth the purchase as I've recorded plenty with my Switch already.

Awsome for the price
I have some old tapes I wanted to make digital copies of before they were too old to be played and I was able to plug this into my computer and with the camera app record my videos with very little loss in quality, these tapes aren't 4k but I am very happy with the results. From the other reviews I will let you know the HDMI port is very tight, knowing this the cable I plugged in will not be removed but will be changed on the other device instead. At this price though if I had to change out the capture device every few videos it would be worth it.

Easy to use and great for it's price!
I loved how it was so easily able to connect to my Nintendo switch. I connected it to my laptop and it worked perfectly. The camera quality I'd great as well.

I am glad I went with this!
I was surprised it came with such in-depth instructions on not only how to set it up for mac and windows but how to use it on OBS. Setting it up is very easy! The quality of the product and results for streaming is better then I expected.
