Yes, the excellent reviews are correct. This comes very well packaged, nothing is scratched or broken. It looks gorgeous especially at night with the reflection of the flames on the brass looking trims. Worth the price without any question.

We've had this torch set for 4 years now. We use it constantly all spring and summer and love it. It looks great, can be a challenge to keep clean though. But beyond that I absolutely cannot say enough good about the customer service. Our initial shipment had one broken torch. Even though it had been wrapped pretty well, it still managed to be broken. I contacted the vendor via amazon and had a no questions asked replacement shipped almost immediately. To soften the blow (no pun intended), they even included the caps as a gift. Fast forward 4 years and I'm having problems getting wick. Normally I just buy the tops with wick already in them but for some reason this year they don't have them available. I contact them to see where I might purchase some and a few days later I get an envelope in the mail with a couple of feet of wick, again gratis.

This arrived yesterday and boy, was it wrapped well! bubble wrap and plastic wrap made sure that every part arrived in pristine condition. The lamp itself is beautiful...I haven't fired it up yet but anticipate it will be even better. My only concern is that the glass "bowls" are loose in the ring holders so I hope I don't break one as I am not sure how you would ever replace them. That said, they are heavy glass and look very high quality as a result. Heavier than a typical drinking glass. Also sure that it will need to come in after each use as I would expect rust.

Worth the money

We purchased one of these to be in the center of our outdoor dining table. It looks great as it matched the 4 H Potter chandeliers that we purchased at the same time. We love the way these look and the overall effect and always get complements on them. The problem with this item is in our intended use of it. These lanterns produce a large flame and the holder itself is really too large for a centerpiece on a 6-8 person table (maybe in the center of a 12+ person round table). We ended up placing this on a end table on another patio where it works well for ambiance

Very beautiful and pleasant at night.Appears to be a type of hand blown glass as each one us slightly different. It's only fault is there is a slight oil dribble that developes that runs down the sides and eventually onto the table it's sitting whenwhen burning.
