Works brilliantly. Grips tight over existing mirror, displays picture perfectly. Only issue is it could be a LITTLE brighter as you are already dealing with the fact it is still a mirror over the top. Other than that, no issue at all. Perfect for the price. Would buy again.

i love this although have not used monitor yet. its jus so wide and big that u don't have to play with mirror anymore and can see everything going on in the back just from its view. My silk mirror was too small as I'm realising now from having this one clipped over. i can see everything going on behind and at a wider view. also there is no shaking when going over bumps or driving fast did not have ONE problem on the motorway nor did i hear any shaking noises so make sure u have clipped it in very well if u find u have this problem because it should hug your old mirror tightly, so tight that i was worried it would scratch it but all is good it does attach very securely

For the price this is a very good item. The mirror itself took about 30mins to install, it clips on to the original and doesnt look out of place. Its also a pretty sturdy mirror, very slight vibration but nothing as bad as suggested in some reviews and I drive a car with quite stiff suspension. The actual mirror is slightly tinted so its a darker reflection than the standard mirror, but doesnt effect driving safety. The camera view is decent enough, i`d like to have seen some overlayed graphics to judge distances , I wouldve paid more for that feature. The only negative is that occasional, and i`m not sure if this is the mirror or another part of the camera wiring, it does come on by itself on occasions. But i suspect its the wireless transmitter i`m using from the rear camera thats causing it. #Update I`ve since discovered that the wireless transmitter I have connected to this also picks up from other cars transmitters. I was driving past a car park the other day and my rear view mirror came on showing someones rear view camera as they reversed into a parking space. Annoying and very distracting.

Works great as a mirror! It is bigger than the original mirror which is better so that works fine which is just as important as the monitor part of the review. The screen part works fine too. The image is acceptable when used with a reversing camera and does the job. The only gripe is that the power lead is too short and I suspect in most cases will need to be lengthened to reach a power source. I actually ran the power cable alongside the video lead to the back of the car and powered in also off the reversing light. The screen appears when reverse is selected and it saved having to find a power source under the dash somewhere. Update: I changed the wiring and went with a combined video power lead used for security cameras. This has proved more reliable. I have occasionally noticed it stopped working which appears to be related to the video input lead. Unplugging and reinserting solved the problem. Another thing is the slight vibration is noticeable. I think this is because of the extra weight the original mirror has to cope with. I added some foam pads and this has helped. Though there are a few niggles I still think it is worthy of 5 stars because of the price.

This item has a distinct magenta tint to it - ranging randomly from slightly magenta (useable) to full on magenta (unuseable) - see pics. I've attempted to adjust the hue, color saturation etc but it hasn't helped. It clips over the existing rear-view mirror but the clips are hard grooved plastic so not as grippy as they could be. Both my wife (5 ft tall) and me (6ft tall) drive the car; we both have to be very careful when adjusting the mirror for our individual use or it would come away in our hands. As mentioned by others, the screen is tinted which adds to the tinted rear screen on our car (and many modern cars) to reduce clarity/visibility of the rear view, especially in places like dark car parks. The rear view driving image gets a bit fuzzy from vibration at certain engine revs/road conditions. The tilt function of the existing mirror (for reducing headlight glare from behind) is lost when this screen is fitted. The screen was puchased in conjunction with the BW E322 LED Night Vision Wide-Angle Rearview Camera. I'm not certain if the problem is with the screen or the camera, but probably the screen.

excellent bit of kit clips on very well sturdy very strong clips good quality display with brightness and contrast adjustment. wired mine to an ignition switched live although you could get away with a perminant live i think (although i havent tried it and dont no if would cause a drain so to be safe went for switched live) as although the screen is powered all the time the ignition is on it dosnt display anything untill it sees a signal for example from a reverse camera so no need for a power wire to be run from reverse to the screen trigger it. was sceptical at first as my car comes with an auto dimming mirror and with this i wouldnt have the option to dim at all but it has a very slight tint to the mirror that you dont notice in normal day time driving but at night it is just enough to stop you being dazzled so im pleased with that. thinking of getting one for the girlfriends car would recommend.

this is very nice product. as a mirror , it gives very clear view for the back of your car in night and day light. the mirror quality is nearly the same like the original mirror as rear view monitor with reverse camera , it is perfect , it gives very clear vision of what is behind your car which is great the only negative side is that it does shake when walking in rough roads and make some little noise , i am thinking in putting some sponge as a pad between the BW monitor and the original mirror to absorb the vibration and get red of this little noise. other than that , it is perfect

Franchement faut pas plus, bonne image joue son rôle, aucun soucis particulier lors du montage. Attention la caméra est vendue a part.

Verbaut ist der Spiegel in einem Peugeot 207. Der Spiegel hat bei bekannten einen wow Effekt ausgelöst, weil im ausgeschalteten Zustand der Spiegel wie ein ganz gewöhnlicher spiegel aussieht. Nach einlegen von rückwärts Gang, gab es dann schon Augen. Und einen netten wow Effekt. Der Spiegel passt super auf den schon vorhandenen. Der Spiegel ist etwas dunkler, was nicht stört und ist größer was ebenfalls nicht stört. Der Spiegel besitzt 2 Video Eingänge theoretisch könnte man Front und rück Kamera verwenden. Die Größe des Displays im spiegel ist optimal. Die Darstellung des Videos ist sehr gut auch bei tag noch gut sichtbar, man beachte meine Heck Scheibe ist mit 90% getönt dadurch wenig Licht Einfall von hinten. Weiß nicht wie das Display bei Autos ohne Tönung ist. Umschalten auf Video geht sehr schnell. Bild Einstellungen wie Helligkeit, Kontrast kann man am Gerät einstellen, mit den Tasten die hinter dem Spiegel angebracht sind. Die Standart Einstellungen waren für mich gut genug. Ich kann den Spiegel empfehlen.

Der Autorückspiegel ist von sehr guter Qualität,war scnell geliefert,( in zwei Tagen ) und sehr gut eingepackt und mit ausreichend guter Beschreibung,auch in deutscher Sprache,angekommen.Durch das Sichtfeld in der Mitte kann man immer noch ausreichend zusätzlich nach hinten sehen und auch beleuchtet durch die Kamera alles gut erkennen was sich hinten so abspielt.Habe ich meiner Frau in den Smart Four Four eingebaut und man kann zwei Kameras oder Videoquellen daran anschließen.Super-Teil!!!
